Looking for a chance to jump start my career after graduation from USC I was drawn to an ad on career building from Phoenix Global Solutions with the promise of vertical growth and the chance for excellent management opportunities. I decided that moving to San Diego was what I wanted to do and I was excited to think of the possibilities this company promised. After applying for this job I received an email almost immediately asking to come in for an interview. Great, I thought, things are looking good.

So I headed down to Chula Vista for the interview. I show up to this office building that looks like it belongs in the 70s with no up keep since then. I walk into this office which is small and full of other "highly qualified" individuals. As I started talking to another applicant I find out this guy barely finished his GED and he was 24. Wow did I ever feel qualified. HA that should have been my clue to run, but at this point I was interested in seeing how this "dream job" was going to turn out.

So now the "manager" comes out and calls me in for my interview. His name is Justin Dutcher. This guy looked like a fat slob who needs to learn how to dress well. This so-called leader had giant holes in his ears where he used to have plugs and had a horrible stench coming from his body. Being the leader of this self-proclaimed emerging company that posts amazing profits, you would think the manager would know how to shower! We get into his office and I look down and notice he is wearing white socks with his dark suit that looks like it is from Wal Mart. A very classy individual I see... After talking to this guy, I would be surprised if he even has a college degree. Actually, I bet he doesn't even have a GED!

So then the interview starts and he goes on and on about the amazing growth opportunity this is. I ask him what the job entails and all he says is that they work for huge corporations providing them value and face to face interaction with their customers. So I ask him to expand on my responsibilities some more, but he runs around and around the issue. I soon realized this tall, smelly oaf is just giving the run around on the fact that all the job actually would be is DOOR to DOOR sales! What a waste of time and gas. I wish I never came down and I hope that posting this will help save others from this scam artist! Keep away from Phoenix Global Solutions and Justin Dutcher!!!

Phoenix Global Solutions is NOT the expanding company and opportunity that it claims to be. All you will find here is LIES, LIES, LIES. Stay away from Phoenix Global Solutions and their 100% commission, door to door sales positions. Justin Dutcher is a liar hoping you will come in and fill his sales force so he can go back and buy another $50 suit or maybe, just maybe go and buy some soap!

Hey Justin, you're just like any other "owner". Always stating that you care about your guys. You all say that, but in reality you have to pretend to care for them in order to have them go out and makes sales for you. The started of this post was spot on with what he said because you know what? That is the exact same experience I went through when I went for a first interview in Corona, CA for "Savanh Marketing Systems". There is no professionalism there and there is no use to wear suits. You run a business, not a respectable, professional business. I'm sure you have guys that wear cheap Target suits and wear white tennis shoes socks as well. I saw it all the time at SMS. Good try by posting on here and trying to defend your company but I know people are aware that your company and many others are just a waste of time. No one wants to spend 10 hrs a day walking around door-to-door selling services whether they're Verizon b2b or U-Verse. This is not a job.

Also, I think its funny how they set qualifications for these jobs. SMS said they wanted someone with "impeccable skills, strong work history, and some college work completed". I was fresh out of HS and had no work experience and no college and they still hired me. Most of the "sales reps" at SMS were dumb as dirt. 85% of them DID NOT graduate High School. I just don't see the need to perceive yourselves as "professionals" when you're not.

Companies like yours, Justin, and SMS are deceitful and they lie during the first interviews and you know it. You know you won't flat out tell the people you're interviewing "well its a door-to-door commission based job. You also get to walk around in a suit under the hot scorching sun for your second interview, and hey, if we hire you, you will be forced to walk around door-to-door any time whether its 130 degree weather or its raining. Hey, we don't care what you go through or how much time of your life you waste. As long as you trick people into switching and sell the elderly Internet and expensive 500+ channel packages, stuff that they will never use, that's all I care about. I don't care about you, or the fact that you have a degrading job selling stuff like this door-to-door. As long as you make me money, that's all I care about".

Hey, in the end, its all about the owner and how much money they make. The idiots that get pumped up with bs about sales pitches and being positive are replaceable. They'll always find some loser drop out to do it. You, the sales rep do not matter. Only the money matter to the Owners. Remember that.

Phoenix Global Solutions-Find Out For Yourself!!!

AUTHOR: Messkin2002 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 06, 2008

After reading all the accusations against Phoenix Global Solutions I have to say I'm quite amused. I have now worked for PGS for about 2 months now and I know Justin Dutcher on a very personal level. A man of amazing integrity and character, and I'm very privileged to have him as a business partner. No one is perfect and we are always learning and growing in life to make mistakes is human and who are we to judge other people, are we that perfect? The core values are specific and our mission statement adheres to these values: Add Positive Value to Everything!!!
I've also met Sys Savaughn, Justin's promoting owner as well as Jamie Hepp a Senior National Consultant who promoted Sys. These men are down to earth humble people who are so passionate about their work and helping others to succeed. No one is there for themselves and there is no I in team. Yes, we do door to door sales and yes we are overqualified for this position but I'm looking at the opportunity of becoming a business owner by the age of 24. I made corporate trainer in 7 days with Justin's help and he never took any of my money!!! As a matter of fact Justin took me out to dinner on several occasions and always paid for stuff when I didn't have cash on me.
Not only that but I have seen e-mails from previous employees who have worked in the business and have thanked Justin for the influence he was on them and how thankful they were for having had the opportunity to work with him. If he was all about himself why would he FIRE individuals that had amazing talent. What it comes down to is this it takes a lot to humble yourselves to do door to door sales. That's why only 7 % of America is entrepeneurs because they were the ones that worked hard and didn't quit. Jamie Hepp has no college experience and now he makes millions on the Quill campaign so if that sounds like a scam to you then sorry to say you're really ignorant.
Last but not least our 3rd value states: Healthy Relationships through Servant Leadership-My office before my crew and my crew before myself. Justin Dutcher is a prime example of that as are many of the leaders in our business today. Yes his breath kind of stinks sometimes and yes he isn't always the sharpest dressed but I'll tell you what this is the real deal hands down and I'm proud to work at Phoenix Global Solutions!!!!!!!!!!

#8 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Make Up Your Own Mind

AUTHOR: Pgs - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 26, 2008

My Name is Justin and I am the owner of the company that everyone is talking about. To be honest I laugh every time i read these reports. A couple things are pretty interesting to me.

Number 1:

The first posting that someone wrote said that they came in for a 1st round interview, which is only about 10 - 15 min long. The issue had nothing to do with my company but it was just a personal attack on me. Why would someone who came in for a BRIEF 1st round interview have so much hate? Not only that but at the bottom they put down be careful if you are a female because they heard stories about me with the females in my company. If they only came in for a prelim interview how did they hear stories? It doesnt add up.

Number 2:

I dont care about my guys huh? So why then do i constantly take them out to dinner and pay? Why did i put a 5000 dollar deposit on the house I am living in and didnt ask for any of my guys that moved in to help pay for it? How about when one of my reps didnt have a cell phone and I let her use it and that phone bill came out to over 200 bucks, and I paid for it and didnt ask for anything in return? Or how about covering rent for one of my guys for 4 months and having them leave and me not getting any of that back? How about when one of my girls had family in China during that big earthquake and I told her to take a week off to take care of that? My guys know I care for them more than my own well being. If you question that, call one of my guys.

Number 3:

I look d**n good!

Number 4:

Look up what a pyramid scheme is so when you write comments you can sound educated. Oh by the way, I got a 1480 on my SATs

Number 5:

Come in and make your own mind up. If you are so weak minded that you allow other peoples thoughts influence your own, you will never go after what you really want in life. These reports remind me of Jr. High and all the "He said, She said" gossip.

I hope you all have a great day and good luck with whatever you decide to do!

Cold hard facts...

AUTHOR: Tanderson04 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 25, 2008

I was glad to see someone had written the original post regarding Phoenix Global Solutions. I had worked for the company at the end 2007 when they were still located in Kearny Mesa. I noticed this chain of posts and was rather entertained by the last post that is supposedly the "real truth". Having met and worked for Justin it is obvious that he wrote that post in a desperate attempt to pad his own ego.

There are few people in this world that I have met that were as poor at management as Justin. Don't get me wrong, he knows the game he is playing. He is an amazing manipulator and is an expert and using people to his own benefit. The concept that is behind Cycdor does offer opportunity and can provide growth for starting employees. However, Justin Dutcher was out for his own benefit and was not concerned with the growth of his employees and their well being. The other manager that was in that office, I forget her name but was a cute blonde girl, at least showed genuine care for her employees. That was a little evidence in the opportunities of Cydcor. Honestly, I believed in Cydcor and I still do think it is a potentially great chance for the right type of person. It is a lot of work, but Justin was never there to help anyone grow and if he was a smart manager he would realize that investing in his employees would be the best way to make money in the long term.

The problem with Cycdor is in their haste to grow and expand with new offices, they often put in people without the requisite skills to manage and help employees grow. Justin Dutcher and Phoenix Global Solutions are a prime example of Cydcor opening an office with a manager who is not competent and is unable to properly manage himself and other people. The comments about his actions toward are true, I can confirm that from my time there. Just be careful with this office and if you really want the opportunity that Cydcor has to offer, find another one of their offices with a higher caliber employee.

The Real Truth

AUTHOR: The Truth - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 25, 2008

Here is the TRUTH about Phoenix Global Solutions and Justin D. Phoenix Global actually has is not a Pyramid Scheme.

pyramid scheme

noun
a fraudulent scheme in which people are recruited to make payments to the person who recruited them while expecting to receive payments from the persons they recruit; when the number of new recruits fails to sustain the hierarchical payment structure the scheme collapses with most of the participants losing the money they put in

Key words/phrases: Recruited, while expecting to receive payments, hierarchical payment structure, participants losing thier money.

Yes Phoenix Recruites people, but no to the rest. Only the manager of the company recieves payments from everyone much like any family owned company in the U.S. (since we talk about doing so much research) and hierarchical payment structure falls under that as well. As for my favorite, participants lossing thier money, you can't lose what you don't put in. It costs absolutly nothing to start.

As for who ever wrote the ad. It is quite interesting that you have so much knowledge about Justin and how his company works when you claim that you have only went to a first interview and that he danced around your questions. I am quite interested on how you aquired this information without ever starting. Or do you always stalk companies that you weren't interested in starting in.

Offices that work with fortune 500 cliets doesn't sound like something that would be a scam. The company actually provides an opportunity like no other. You have the ability to learn managment skills in a very short amount of time because you have the opportunity to apply what you are learning while learning it. Unlike school where you are expected to learn for 4 years and then hope you remember how to apply what you studied. Some people that leave companies like phoenix are bitter due to how they left. Most people that leave the company get fired for LYING to customers and the client requires for Phoenix to dispan of these individuals for lack of integrity.

But I tell it like it is,

Response to "Justin" - Phoenix Global Solutions San Diego - DECEPTION STILL STANDS

AUTHOR: Uscgrad04 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 11, 2008

The fact of the matter stands that Justin is merely looking for people to fill his ranks and make him a little money along the way. By paying commission only he is taking advantage of his employees and barely providing the training he provides. In addition, his adds claim to provide "paid training". His version of paid training is sending you to the field and having you try and learn to sell his product. But you don't get paid if you don't make a sale. What kind of training is that?! If this were truly paid training I would get some money to learn the ropes not have to struggle to survive...

With the education part, I am not saying a GED is worthless. But when a job advertisement touts the need for a MINIMUM of s 2 year degree and then goes about hiring people that do not meet these requirements, that is deception and poor business practice. Be open and upfront and do not try and entice people to your office on false requirements.

Back to the dress part. Justin stresses the need for employees of Phoenix Global Solutions to dress professionally and act accordingly. A cornerstone to good business practice is leading by example which Justin Dutcher appears to be incapable of doing.

Getting to the final point of your comment. "Phoenix global is a cydcor company. If you were in fact educated you would do a little homework on companies you apply for." I am sorry but last time I checked there is nothing stating that Phoenix Global Solutions is a Cydcor company. If in fact I had known this I would not have gone to the interview because Cydcor bashing is ever present all over the internet because this company is the leader in multi-level marketing scams looking to use and abuse unsuspecting individuals. In fact, Phoenix Global Solutions is just one of the newest offices that will hopefully be closed soon and stop taking advantage of people looking to actually make a go at a fruitful career. The reason I could not find out information online is because it was too new to have bad press, but I felt the obligation to share my experiences and hopefully help out other individuals.

With everything else written here, I also feel the need to expand my statements from last time on one issue I forget to mention. Be aware if you are a female applying for a job or working there. Justin's ethics as it comes to female employees are gray at best and I have heard many stories regarding his sorted past interactions with females in his office and others.

I appreciate your opinion but need people to be aware of the truth.

Job seeker be warned,
Joe

While I will agree with the fact that phoenix global is a door to door sales firm. I do not agree with the comments made by stevez. Justin Dutcher is an educated man. As for him not dressing to ones standards has nothing to do with his abilities as an owner (bill gates, Steve jobs).Just because an applicant had a GED doesn't make a company worthless. Not everyone has mommy pay for school. Phoenix global is a cydcor company. If you were in fact educated you would do a little homework on companies you apply for.
