Photo Dynasty thieves, liars, above the law? broke my daughters heart and her bank account!!! Brooklyn New York

my daughter who is 18 and just recently graduated from high school has decided that she wants to pursue photography in college. we decided that she would take all her graduation money and purchase a camera. she was very excited and started the internet search so that she could get the best deal for her money. of course photodynasty.com kept popping up everywhere and it had the best price. and it even came highly recommended by several rating sites. so after reading what her package offered on photodynasty.com. we felt that this would be a great purchase. so i put it on my credit card and she gave me All her cash.

about two hours after we placed the order, the phone rang and it was jason from photodynasty. he asked if i was aware that the package i ordered didn't come with a battery, charger, memory card, lens etc. i told them that it did come with all those things and that he needed to read the website himself so that he knew what was purchased. he went on and on to assure me that it was my mistake and that i needed to up-grade my package for $1000.00 more dollars to get everything to make the camera work. i then told him to cancel my order and he refused and hung up on me.

i called back the same day and was put on hold and hung up on several more times. i asked to speak with a supervisor, owner, just someone who could help me and continued to get hung up on.

i called visa that same day and told them what was going on and they said that they would investigate it. they credited my card for the amount purchased about $2500.00 and asked me to fill out a fraud report. so i did. i even googled photodynasty (wish i had of done this first) and was amazed at all the people who have been ripped off by them. i printed all this out and sent it to visa along with the other paperwork.

so here we are a month later, visa has put the charge back on my card and after arguing with them, we are still waiting to see if we will get our money back.

how can this company continue to operate with such shady practices? it seems as if the state of new york alone has enough negative feedback and complaints filed with the bettter business burea that they would have shut them down already.

so BEWARE of this company. i wish a t.v . station would call and order something from them using a private name and see what happens to them. it would be one hell of a story to air.

my daughter has just received her camera from ritz camera and although we spent a little more, we know that they are reliable and there to help us if we have any problems.

now if Visa will just give me my money back i will be blessed and thankful. investigate a little visa, that's all it will take.....
