I contacted Pixius for internet services, where, I spoke with a sales representative on the phone. Prices for services were given to me, and I went ahead and set up a time and date to have internet installed. An internet installer showed up a week after and installed equiptment and set up services. Then he gave me a bill for $140.00, when I asked him what the bill was for, he sighed and told me "I bet they did not tell you either about my fee's" where I advised him that the sales representative had not. The installer continued to tell me that he had just left another installation and that they did not know about the fee either. I went ahead and paid the installer with a check. When I received my first bill I saw that Pixius was charging me an additional fee for $75.00 a side from monthly services. When I contacted Pixius they informed me that this was for installation fees, I advised them that I had already paid $140.00 for what supposedly was installation fees.

Where, the young lady became, very defensive and advised me that the $75.00 was for office fees, then she continued to threaten me that if I did not pay this $75.00 that I would get charged an total amount of $499.94 for cancelation, unistall, equipment, and collection fees.  I told her that I was not going to pay anymore fees and that none of these charges were addressed when I spoke with sales representative. I did pay for the first month services that they provided me and took the $140.00 loss instead of having to do anything with such a shady group of people. A couple of months passed and I received a collection letter from Pixius threatening to send me to collections if I did not pay the $499.94.

I contacted April Lagnevall, the collections supervisor, about this bill, and let me tell you, she was not a very nice lady. She was very rude, sarcastic and threatening. I advised her that I was not liable for these fees, since, I had never signed a contract. She told me that she would get in contact with me after she would verify this. Well, several months past and I did not hear from her again, instead, I received a call from a collection agency for the 499.94!!! After that call, I personally went to Pixius office, and talked to April Lagnevall, where, she confirmed with a signed letter that I did NOT sign any agreement or contract, therefore, I was NOT liable for 399.94 fees. O.K. BUT, that I still had to pay the collection agency $75.00 for their services!!!! And she told me that she was not going to delete collection, because, according to her I should of just paid them the $75.00 fees, anyways. I began to have her explain to me why I had to pay the collection agency when I should of never been placed in collections in the first place. Where, April Lagnevall advised me that I just had to, and that I should leave her office. I did write a validation letter to collection agency because, now they have a $75.00 collection on my credit report. I have not received confirmation of this debt.
