This newly opened Planet Fitness Center, in Charlotte, N. C., created a log jammed area for a cardio workout on sitting bicycles. They located 3 cleaning stations within 5' of each other. One is immediately next to a riding station. There is a very small area people sneak through between the station, & the end bike. They refuse to walk the additional 3 feet to a safe place to the outside of the safety railings. Several individuals were within inches of me riding the unit at 115 rpm. In fact, they were close enough that I had to stop. They then moved left, & away out from the bikes to avoid being struck at knee level. I told the manager, who stated, QUOTE ''if anyone comes that close to you again, I'll handle the problem everytime it occurs. " When he was asked to resolve the problem now, he repeated the same answer he previously stated above. When asked if that was the only thing he would do, his response was, " what's the matter, don't you think I'll talk to them? If its that dangerous I'll do it everytime." "You can bet on it." This unshaven moron, refuses to takle the problem proactively. He will get involved ONLY after someone gets injured. This is the same idiot who told a woman on approved medical rehab to, PUT DOWN the weights before she killed herself." The girl was in her 20's experienced with weights, was working the light weights as Medically prescribed, at half the motion persons usually do this excercise. He made no attempt to ask her what was going on, why she was working that way, or if she was experiencing any problems. He simply, out of the blue blew her away in front of a considerable amount of persons utilizing the area. Bad news person.
