Was in attendance of my friend wedding on October 22nd 2012 in the south and I was in awe of how the wedding planner was over and hour and half late for practice, then she had an attitude, had no clue who was suppose to stand where far as the line-up. Thought it could get no worst until she was late for the wedding but yet we had to be there hours early for nothing. think it is real tacky to let her guest see decor being done in the church while they are sitting there I didnt want to ruin my friend's day but I was so pissed at the unprofessionalism, glad I stumbled across this site in which I see I am not the first to display how I feel about this lady. She need a watch so she can be on time.

Rebuttal To this Post

AUTHOR: Sekecca Davis, Owner - ()

POSTED: Sunday, January 05, 2014

Hello, I am the owner that is the subject to this post.

I have taken my time to respond to this post because I did not want to respond upset.  So I have now decided to try to give this audience some insight to this post.

The person that wrote this post was unaware of things that had taken place.  Yes, I was late to this wedding rehearsal which  for the record....I am never Late to any Wedding Rehearsal or Wedding. Me or my assistance are always where we are suppose to be when we are suppose to be there.

So let me try to explain this.  Wedding Rehearsal day......The Bride calls to tell me at 2:00pm that her soon to be Mother In Law wanted to add more programs, 200 more to be exact.  Now, prior to this changed the Bride had already decided on the quanity of programs she was willing to pay for and that is what she had ordered.  Which I went outside of my contract by assisting with picking up the items the bride had already made because my contract clearing states that I DO NOT PICK UP OR DELIVER ANYTHING FOR ANY WEDDING.

However, because the Bride and Groom was Great People to work with I did them a favor because the Bride was working up until the last hours of rehearsal and the wedding rehearsal was in Euttaville, SC. and the programs which the bride had ordered were in Columbia, SC.  Well, at 2pm the soon to be mother in law decided that what the bride had ordered and paid for wasn't enough. She decided to have the bride order 200 more on a Friday from a printing company that closes at 5pm and had 3 orders ahead of theirs.  However, because the printer work with me regularly and I begged......

She stopped what she was doing had to to send someone to get the paper that was used for the programs because it was special order just for this bride she got them done at 10mins to 4pm.  Well, then because Euttaville, SC is a hump from Columbia, SC I had to drive like crazy to get there.  The bride already knew what I was doing for her and her mother in law so it was already understood.  (All of this unknown to the person writing this post).

Wedding Day.....I get a call in Columbia, SC on the way to Euttaville that one of the groomsmen tux came without his shoes that he had picked up so again the bride called me. Again, out of kindness I went out of my way to take care of something the bride had asked me to do.  I then received another call that another grooms vest was missing.  Even though I had to go to two different locations I took care of my bride like she called and asked.  No extra charge nothing I just did it because there was no way they could have gotten from Euttaville, SC to Columbia, SC and made it back on time.

Yes, the wedding party was told to be at the church early at the instruction of the bride as previously discussed.  This wedding party was a party of 50 and I was instructed to tell them to be there early so that everyone would be on time for pictures.

However, when I arrived at the church prior to the wedding I was told that the bridal party was looking for me and I went to them where they were still getting dressed, doing hair and make-up etc and asked if someone was looking for me.  No one said anything.  I was then instructed by the in-laws (Pastor and the first lady) to start the wedding on time even if they were not finish getting dressed.  Wedding started.

I am so sorry this writer did not have all of the facts before they decided to write this post.  The Bride was well aware of what was going on and, the Wedding and Wedding Reception was beautiful the Bride and Groom were happy with my services.

If you are reading this trying to determined to use my services or not.  Please know that this website does not check any reports that are posted on here.  They let anyone put anything on her without making sure it is accurate. Now, with  that being said that means I can go on here and put anything about you or your business that I want to.  In order for this to be verified or removed this company ask that you pay them to verify any post.  I like reviews just as much as anyone else but I also like to know that it is coming from a reputable source.

I am not the said business that this report has been filed against however I know the circumstances in which you obviously did not ask the bride before filing something like this that can be damaging..... The contract did not include errands however the coordinator did them to help your bride on both the day of the rehearsal and day of wedding which was not part of her contractual obligations but did them to help the bride. The wedding actually was on sept 22 and you have the date incorrect as well on this report. Why didn't you simply ask the coordinator what was going on and she probably could have explained that last minute there was an additional added order for 200 more programs in which she had to wait for them to be printed to bring them the day of the rehearsal and the day of the wedding pick up shoes for a groomsmen which she was given the wrong information about even what store the shoes were at, the bride was also suppose to pick up her unity candle as well as groomsmens gifts in which the coordinator also had to pick them up as well etc etc which again was not part of her duties or responsibilities...... Mabie you should have ran the extra last minute errands since obviously the bride had no one that would assist her with these...... The only person whom should file a report like this is the person herself who received the services the BRIDE! The person who knew what was going on behind the scenes...... Not to mention a few days before the wedding adding an additional 100+ additional guests which made all her vendors jump through the hoops to make this happen for the bride.

As for the decor the ceremony was at 3 pm why was the church opened at noon? Guests would have never seen this if someone didn't take it upon themselves to open the church.

Maybe you should enquire before posting things like this. Sad that anyone can just assume and not know facts before they post things like this. Really really sad.......
