I ordered their product hoping that I would learn some amazing marketing ideas in the music business. With the assurance of their no questions asked ... no hassle 100% satisfaction or money back guarantee... I went ahead and ordered their products.

After downloading their products I knew I was scammed. I immediately emailed their support for a refund. They ignored me for 2 days. I them emailed them through Paypal. Finally Ty Cohen replies to my email explaining that because I ordered with the intentio n of asking for a refund.. he will not refund my money. This is a BIG scam folks... buyer beware!!!

This guy Ty Cohen is a crook and a scam artist. He will promise you the moon until he gets your money... you will get scam products and no possible refund. I wish that someone would investigate him and put him out of business. Guys like him have changed my trust level in internet purchases forever and that is sad because there are tons of honest business people out their that will be hurt by scabs like Ty Cihen.

Total SCAM

AUTHOR: Tony - ()

When you see the crap that you paid for it only takes minutes to know that you've been scammed. All this talk of customers downloading with no intetion of purchasing is a big lie. Don't believe this guy. I have bought many products online and have never been scammed. This guy post 30 days refund - NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Not only should he be sued - he should be charged with fraudulent misrepresentaions.

How a seller should have a refund offer and not get his digital offer ripped off

AUTHOR: illbeback - ()

Whether Ty Cohen of Platinum Millennium is a scammer or not, really isn't the issue here.

As far as internet law is concern, unless a Refund Policy specifically states otherwise, a consumer has the right to ask for a refund anytime after a purchase is made.

In other words, a consumer may ask for a refund as soon as 1 minute after the purchase, or 30 days after the purchase. As imperfect the law is, it clearly states that the intent is to protect the consumer.

If Ty Cohen follows the law, he must return the consumer's money even if he suspects that the consumer bought the digital product with the intent of keeping the digital product.

A court of law would definitely find for the consumer, but who's going to file a lawsuit that costs more than the refund?

A refund policy that states that the company will honor a refund within 30 days, no questions asked, will, in all likelyhood, attract a certain percentage of legitamte refunds and buyers who intended to get the product and ask for a refund. In either case, the seller must refund the money.

The refund policy that states a refund will not be issued if Ty Cohen suspects that the buyer bought his digital product with the intent of getting a refund, still does not satisfy the law because the proof of burden is on Ty Cohen.

However, a refund policy that states a refund will be issued with proof that you implemented one the "systems" outlined in the digital product from start to finished and it did not make, let's say, at least double what you paid, will remove non-legitimate buyers.

Or have no refund policy stating that since this is a digital product and cannot be returned.

Any seller of physical or digital products should consult an internet law attorney to protect themselves from  consumers who realize they can exercise their right to sue and possibly (likely) win a substantial award.

But as far as this buyer complaint is concerned, the law is clear. The buyer is intitled to a refund and the seller should revise his refund policy that is compliant to the law.

Not True

AUTHOR: Nabar Exist - (United States of America)

I have personally spoken to Ty on many occasions, I have bought product from Ty and he has refunded money back on products that I have over payed for so I can't believe the stories. He has also interviewed my recording artist's for his radio show at different times and we were speaking about getting together to do some events. I don't know Ty personally, as far as seeing him face - to - face is concerned, as of yet, but we have gained a good rapport over the telephone and I will continue to order more products from his company as needed as a matter of fact after I finish writing this report I will be ordering more product for the information I need.

We did everything that we could for this customer

AUTHOR: Ty - (U.S.A.)

We have tens of thousands of great customers and every once and a while you get one who tries to scam the system by making false and insulting comments in an effort to get something for free. This customer called us up and specifically asked if we gave refunds on our downloadable products.

When the operator said yes, he then placed and order for multiple products of ours and then almost "Immediately" asked for a refund.

The reason for him doing so is so that he would get his money back, yet still have the products in his possession, since they are digital

Although we had no problem with issuing the refund, I do believe that it is totally unfair for customers to simply be able to outright "Steal" products, be it digital or physical. If you go into Walmart and do the same thing you would be put into jail. Stealing is a crime, no matter how it is done

As I said in the very beginning of this post, we have tens of thousands of customers, subscribers and fans of our products. Search the net and with the exception of the two post here you'll find nothing but great comments about our products, company and service. Just think about it... Thousands of people love us and only 2 have ever had something negative to say

I don't know if I'm on to something, but it seems to me, that Ty Cohen isn't a person, but rather a dirty institution using the pen-name Ty Cohen. I came upon that thought while doing a "Suspicion report" assignment for a class, so I was trying to dig up as much dirt as I possibly could about this Ty Cohen guy, and couldn't find anything... then I realized that Ty Cohen (and this could be stupid, but I think I might be right about this) with the words jumbled right, might actually be a subtle ironic tipoff to what this really is all about... see: "Ty Cohen" = "They Con" (they being whatever company this is).

I don't really feel the need to go into detail about this guys scummy reputation, along with the bogus clients and false bolstering of his products via amazon... The conclusion that I've drawn as a result of this research is that this "guy" is a dirty scumbag who wants nothing more than your money. Stay away from Ty Cohen.
