We were invited to go on a presentation which according to them was not a timeshare presentation by an american boy name Tim in Bahia Torquis residence in Costa Rica. When we got to the breakfast they said that they are developing the resort and since we are timeshare owner we could get the best deal. They offered us 6 weeks of vacation anywhere and they gurranty to see our timeshare points for $2.15 a share. They said for the first 5 years they will rent the weeks for $2600 a week gurranty by an american company name Mercury Management Property in St. Missouri. They got the guy from the company name Manny on the phone and he said he will email me the gurranty letter right there. Their internet was down but they told us we could check it when we get to the first floor. When we got there they treatened us that we have spent a lot of time and we had to leave. They said according to the contract we have 8 days to cancel it and it was written in the contract. We went to the hotel at night and checked on web and found that lot of people were scamed by this comapy. We went in the morning and asked them to cancel the contract. They said it was not refundable and this is not America. They said we had to leave as the Costa Rica police is working with them.
