Polariod Polaroid 37" TV 16 month old JUNK Concord Massachusetts

I bought a Polaroid FLU3732 37" LCD HDTV in February 2007, Now June 2008 the thing will not power up unless I unplug and plug back in. I have read all the horror stories on the internet about Polaroids customer service techniques. And have checked pricing on getting it fixed and $400 to $600 to repair a TV that is only a little over a year old is extremely hard to swallow considering I paid $900 for it.

Just a reminder for anyone else that the model number does not matter and it does not seem to matter on screen size because so far all the 32 to 42 inch Polaroids use the same Control Box all Polaroid has done is change the part number by two numbers depending on the screen size.

So there you have it folks Polaroid used to make a quality product now selling junk and refusing to see that there is a problem with their product to protect their bottom line.
