I bought an LCD TV from Circuit City, it worked great for 3 months. It went black and that is where the nightmare began. This was in June 07. I called for exchange, no way Polaroid said they have to repair it. They had to send part. I didnt get this as they had not looked at the TV to know what part! The phone calls began when i never got anything. Promises and lies. It took 2 mos. finally got it and then had to wait for them to send the tech. this never happened. More calls, more lies. After another 6 weeks of phone calls and still nothing, I shot off emials to all the CEO's and upper mgmt. Finnally a week later I get a call tag to send it all back and my refund will follow. This was back in October. Four months and phone calls every week having to tolerate the lies and promises, then the rude inept empolyees that tell me the check is in the mail then lost then re issued and still nothing for four months! I am losing my mind and cannot believe they get away with this! I want to tell everyone what a scam they are, not just the service but they know how inferior thier products are. They set it up so it is impossible to get anything repaired replaced or refunded. they hold your money until you either give up from all the frustration or drop dead. I cannot tell you how hard it has been not to just scream at these idiots. I have cried more over this than my divorce!

I am so sorry to hear that you still haven't recieved your refund. I too went through this with Polaroid, told the part was on its way, then told it was back ordered then told we could exchange it then told we could get a refund! You read more new horror stories everyday about people getting screwed by Polaroid and their inferior tv's! Although I am really surprised after your sending the tv back you still haven't recieved your refund, I was so happy that it only took 2weeks from the time they recieved our tv until we got our check, but then there was the concern if the check was even any good, which thankfully it was and finally after 3 almost 4 months of daily calls to them our nightmare was over!

I really hope you get this resolved soon and just as I have told a few others who are still going through their ordeal for some sort of resolution that they have to just keep on calling and calling and letting them know they arne't going to go away and hopefully soon they will have the solution they want.

I also have to say I think these companies who peddle these inferior tvs also need to be held resonsible, they know the tvs are crap yet they push them on their customers as if they were the best made tv ever and even go as far as to tell you they themselves have the same exact model they are trying to push on you in their living rooms and have had no problems at all!! YEAH right! I will never again purchase anything from Circuit City nor will I ever purchase any Polaroid brand anything ever again! I hope your problem finds it's solution very soon.
