Porshia Grier is a Major Rip Off. She calls her self a Wedding Planner and she nearly Destroyed my Wedding Day! Porshia tried to con me out of money and when that didnt work she STOLE all of my wedding supplies and my money.

I hired Porshia as my Wedding Planner. She was supposed to contact Vendors(Florist, Venues, Photographer, DJ, etc) and present me with options to have a beautiful and perfect day. I was actually contacting and finding my own vendors.

First incident was with my Save the Date cards. She found a guy which she presented as a company to me, and assured me his prices was the best. I had faith in my planner so I went with her decision to hire this guy even though she told me I couldnt see his work unless I gave a deposit. After giving the deposit and viewing his work I was not satified. because it was unprofessional and I could I done it from my own computer. I told her I didnt like it and she said he will not refund the money so I had to pay additional funds according to her to keep a clean face.Then I found out this guy was making her Business Cards and thats why it was so expense because in order for her to get a deal I had to pay more.

Second incident I found my own venue for my Bridal Shower and I needed to take a deposit to them. She stated she would take it to them and try to get my price lowered. Price was never lower but then a week later she told me she was having her husband's 40th Bday Bash at the same hotel because he was giving her a deal.... (no doubt that was because of the money I spent)

Termination......... I asked Porshia to present me with options for a Florist. Porshia said she works with her Aunt who is a Florist and would give me an amazing deal and flawless flowers. I told her I wanted Fresh(Real) Flowers. Porshia stated its policy to give a deposit. I asked what if I dont like them will I have to pay anyway like with the Save the Date Cards? She said NO WAY.... after giving her $4000for a deposit she brought me FAKE flowers which looked a mess.

My Husband said they looked like funeral arrangement and the she told me her Aunt owns a Funeral Home!!! When I said I didnt like the flowers she had a fit and said I insulted her and her aunt. She stated I owe them an additional $4000 and if I didnt pay her aunt would take me to court. After going out shopping around I found I was able to get ALL the arrangements I needed (REAL FLOWERS) and it was only $2500 after discussing this with Porshia she got upset saying I was going behind her back and I had to remind her several time that I am the Bride and It is my DAY and MY money...

 I told her I didnt feel like she was working for me anymore so I wish to no longer have her as my Planner and she was even PAID IN FULL.... She said I couldnt do that because she wanted to get credit for doing my wedding. I offered to give her ADDITIONAL funds because she had all my Bridal Shower and Wedding Day Favors(Favors, flower girl basket, ring pillow, broom, decor etc.... EVERYTHING)

She did not return any of my favors. She didnt provide any floral arrangement. She didnt give me any of my money back. She Kept it all even after I had paid her and gave her a deposit on the floral arrangement. Also keep in mind all of my Favors I bought and gave them to her because she was the Planner.

I had to hire a new Planner, Buy new Favors and Decor and also Buy Flower Arrangement!!!

Please do not be a vicitm. Do Not let this happen to you!!! Do Not hire this woman who is lacking Professionalism, Knowledge and Compassion....

Anyone with Compassion would not set out to get over and ruin another person special moment!
