Portfolio recovery is a rip off operation Internet, Michigan

I had been off work for a major surgery so got behind on my credit cards.  they were sent to Portfolio recovery.  They sent me a agreement for all 3 of my cards.  It was to pick one of 3 optional pay back methods.  I chose the 12 month pay back program. 

I could only pay on one at a time and I explained that to the company.  I made 12 monthly payments of $245.00 a month.  When my 12 months was up I sent a copy of the agreement along with a letter with my last payment.  They took my 12 months of payments but then continue to say I owe them money. 

The other ones I did not pay on are off my credit report now.  My advise it to never make an agreeement with this rip off collection agency just don't pay them anything and you will get the same results as if you were to pay them monthly payments.  I'm kicking myself now because that $245.00 a month could have went to my medical bills. 

Sometimes doing the right thing screws you in the end.  I will never do the right thing to this company EVER again if the chance ever arrives to do so.
