I live in Ohio and was coming home from a hospital in Cleveland, stopped to get gas at a BP and as I was pulling out, a new black SUV pulled up next to me and blocked my view of the street. There were 2 guys in the car and the passenger jumped out and ask if I wanted a surround sound system. They were at a local sports bar installing them and they realized that they don't need the one left over and then proceeded to show me a magazine that had the system listed in it for $3129.00. He assured me that it's brand new and all they wanted was a little cash for it and it was mine.
I looked at my son and said sure we would look at it. The driver got out, took the box out, which was sealed and had the plastic bands still wrapped around it. He broke those, opened it and showed it to us and then said all I want is $200 for it, just some extra cash. I'm not that stupid, I knew it was a scam, but my son said he could probably flip it for more so I bought it.
I don't know where they got that magazine that had the system in it, but I would really like to have seen the name of it so I could contact them also. I haven't taken it out of the box yet because now we are dealing with a funeral for the family that was in the hospital. I could really kick myself now that I have read all of the reports on the internet.
So, just a word of advice...2 nice looking, clean cut, nicely dressed young men are in a newer black SUV, and are around MetroHealth Hospital in Cleveland selling these things too. I hope someone stops this company, but it seems like they're still going strong. Maybe a show on TV about the product would be a good idea, because everyone watches TV!
