This nightmare began in 2000. I was a Capital One credit card holder and received a telephone call about a service that would allow me to make any number of long distance tele. calls for only the $54.90 per mo. After receiving the paper card and not being able to use the service, I began telephoning to have the card cancelled.

It's been t years and for two years I have been told the same thing. The account is in transit for the payment and it cannot be cancelled. Call back in either 7 to 10 days or 7 to 14 days and I can then cancel the account. It will not help to write the request for cancellation, because if the letter is received before the required transit period is up, it cannot be cancelled.

They don't have a record of the previous calls, I never called before, It does not show on the computer. There is only one supervisor "Mr. Edrick Mann", none of the customer service representatives whose names I have recorded never worked at the Company.

I must have been calling the Credit Card Company, they will make a note to cancel the service after the transit period, but I need to call again to request cancellation after the transit period. Its nothing they can do, and on and on and on.
