In August 2005, got notice being sued by Pressler and Pressler aka New Century Financial Services. Contact Chase to try and settle and told to call Credit Max, who then told me to contact New Century. I just came of a long battle with my X and mother of our 1 child that cost me onver $12,000 in lawyer fees and was starting to settle my credit card debt. I was tired and figured I would just start paying this off. I was told I would be getting paperwork about paying off debt and told P&P would try to pay of $200 every month, NEVER got any paperwork, but just paid in good faith, despite calling and asking where agreement paperwork was, either put on long hold or was hung up while on hold.In November 2005, a judgement was entered behind my back, even though an agreement was supposedly reached in September. I contacted P&P trying to advise payment would be late a few days, got hung up or put on long hold again. Just kept paying in good faith but started to do some research about this company. Finally in March 2006, they void our agreement, even though on was never signed as was first told. So at this point, I did more research to find out they are really just committing fraud, claiming they own the debt and have right to sue you for it, when they never actually clear debt from your history. SO THEN P&P sues me for wage execution, I ask for proof of contract in 3 letters to P&P, tell me too late, Filed a motion pending to show proof of contract to be heard on April 7, 2006 in Sussex County to overturn judgement and repay me back based on false mispresentation by P&P. They claim have no case. What a bunch of horrible individuals!!!! People go thru bad times and get in debt and they harass, lie and try to ruin lives by using scumbag tactics and are just lousy about it making the rules to convenience them. I filed a motion since they had no proof of contract and know this should be overturned, IF ANYONE IS LOOKING for a class action lawsuit, lets get it going!!
