Pressler and Pressler have frozen my bank account over a credit card account I never had. After they were sent the proof two years ago by an attorney, lawyer Lori Cetani at Pressler refused to respond to attorney calls to provide proof on her side. We assumed they had dropped the matter.

Lesson #1: don't assume anything with Pressler. Lori Cetani signed the subpoena to have my bank account frozen.

Lesson #2: lawyers will not help you. There is too little money at stake for them to trouble with these cases and the Pressler business machine. Get the court to help you fight.

If you are in my position, go down to court and look in the case file for an affidavit of service. The description of you probably won't match. Pressler started two suits against me over the same matter, so the court has two affidavits of personal service: neither matches each other's description, and neither matches me!

Pressler is getting away with its predatory practices and abusing the court system by hiring licensed process servers who lie under oath that they have personally served you with papers. Report Pressler to your bar association, and report these process servers to the Department of Consumer Affairs.
