Prestige Ford-Garland Puzzled by Prestige Ford Financing Methods Garland Texas

Earlier in the year, I was looking at a recent trade-in, a 99 BMW, which the salesman said it would be around $11,000 to $12,000 since I wanted tax, title and license included in the final price. Also, I didn't want to put anything down since I bought cars before with just my signature and they had costs more. We tinker around with some figures for a while. I then left and was called later that day that it would be around $13,500 and the paperwork was ready with their Finance Dept. I went to the dealership and had the salesman "paged" twice. My son and I saw him walking around and perhaps, helping another customer but he did see my son. He didn't say anything to us and after a 45 minute wait, we finally walked out and decided not to buy the car. A bad omen I said to my son. The following day, I went to a Chevrolet dealer and bought a brand new 2008 Chev. that cost thousands of dollars more and just like I said, I signed my name and the car was mine.

A few days later, I received two notices from well known national lending institutions (one of them had already financed my other car) that they had rejected my finance because of the terms provided by Prestige Ford were not satisfactory. I never met with Prestige Ford's Finance Dept. but somehow, I had been rejected? I was baffled about this since I just financed a new car that costs more with just my signature. I guess this could be retaliation on a consumer since I now may have to put down that I had been denied credit whenever I am asked, but I can assure you, I have my story straight and what is funny about all this, Prestige Ford keeps sending me advertisements in the mail!!! I now steer away from them because I don't know what other surprises they may have for me or you if you don't buy their cars. Good luck.
