Prestige Timeshare Marketing Prestige Timeshare Faudulent Dishonest Business Practices - Scam Artists Pompano Beach Florida

The merchant, PTM Associates, contacted me via telephone with an offer to list my timeshare for $15.98. I asked the representative if they were charging $15.98, how do they make their money. The representative stated that they make their money on the "backend by financing the sale of the timeshare". The following business day I called Chase to inquire what the charge on my card was from PTM. I was told the charge was $1,598.00 and told Chase that I did not authorize that amount and to cancel my account which had a $10,000 credit limit. Chase sent me a new card, new account. I called Chase immediately and asked that my credit limit be reduced to $1,000 which Chase complied.

I was led to believe that the charges were deemed fraudulent and that I would not be responsible for the charge. I received a statement dated 8/8 9/7/07 that showed a reversal of the charge. I then received forms to be completed to dispute the charges. A letter dated 10/01/07 was sent to me stating that I must contact PTM to dispute the charge.

I attempted to call PTM Associates to speak to them directly; the number was no longer in service with no additional information available. No services were provided to me by PTM Associates and obviously the company is scamming individuals. The number attempted is 954-975-6148.
