The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Laurence Girard during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases toward Fruit Street Health.
Fruit Street Health is a truly innovative software company that provides HIPPA compliant telemedicine software to healthcare providers. This software allows healthcare providers to perform secure video consultations with their patients remotely, and specifically monitor their diet and lifestyle using wearable devices. Laurence Girard further explained the services are beneficial for a range of patients needs, "the patient's diet can be monitored with the Fruit Street mobile app so the patient can take pictures of their food. This is particularly good for obese patients that might need to lose weight, or just staying healthy through prevention and wellness."
Mr. Girard explained the sales process for a healthcare provider who received a sponsored email from his company that provides a video demonstration of the software, "if their interested in the software they can request a software demonstration with one of our salespeople...and then we would have them download the desktop application. [We would then] do a video call with them to show them the software, and if they decide to purchase it they would usually start on a two week free trial. If they decide to at the end of the two week free trial to continue then they would pay for the software."
CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION FROM FRUIT STREET HEALTH
During the onsite interview Mr. Girard was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Mr. Girard explained that during the beginning stages of set up, the healthcare provider is asked to submit their logo for branding purposes. There was a case when one of the healthcare providers didn't have the correct logo size, so it was not displaying correctly to patients. In order to remedy this, "we had our internal designer resize the logo for them." Additionally, Fruit Street Health rely's on communication with their clientele to receive feedback on what features they want on the software. This allows for Fruit Street Health to adapt to the consumer's needs in order to provide the best product.
When asked to comment on the complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Girard and Christopher Meatto expressed that the comments are not only false, but in correlation to Prevently, a previous company that Mr. Girard was involved with. The allegations were made by an investor who was also on the advisory board for Prevently who blames Mr. Girard for the failure of the company. However, Mr. Girard was not associated the the company when it ended. Mr. Meatto, the attorney for Fruit Street Health explained that after the allegations were made, "the first thing I did was conduct my own independent investigation of these allegations. I reviewed approximately... few thousand documents, emails, underlying corporate documents, these consisted of everything from the entire business records of the corporation, it's board of directors, the investment strategy." Throughout his investigation Mr. Meatto concluded, "any statement is this report that claims to be a fact as opposed to a matter of opinion is false." Mr. Girard was so dedicated to staying loyal to his investors that he offered free shares to the investors of Prevetly, for his new business Fruit Street Health. In order to further assure future clients Mr. Girard expressed that Fruit Street Health is a public benefit corporation in the state of Delaware, part of the BBB, and has a partnership with Vsee, the world's largest telemedicine platform.
When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to make things right with the customers per the request of Ripoff Report, Mr. Meatto expressed that his presence in the company is to, "make sure there is no misunderstanding of the procedures, the protocols, the risks." Fruit Street Health prides themselves on being a transparent company with both their clients and investors.

Ripoff Report would like to let readers know that Ripoff Report emailed this customer so the member business could make things right with them. STATEMENT FROM FRUIT STREET HEALTH PBC:
The company had writers who were told that they would only be paid for pieces that were submitted and accepted. The quality of the article that the user submitted was not sufficient and therefore we did not purchase the article from the writer. All pieces of content that were published were paid for in full. This woman was even to be paid for the article that was not published. All emails were also replied to in a timely fashion. The report claims Laurence Girard was taking online courses, but in fact was on campus at Harvard University’s Extension School. The report says he was not an on campus student, but this is in fact false. Mr. Girard was attending on campus courses. Personal information such as SSN and bios were collected for tax purposes. The terms of service were clearly explained to writers before they were hired which was that we would only pay for articles that were high quality and that Prevently would have the final say regarding what would be accepted. The writers agreed to these terms.
NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED
I saw an advertisement for a Harvard-based company called Prevently looking for health writers. I sent my application to Kristen Faulkner, the person listed as the contact for Prevently. Within a week I was accepted and was sent an email from Laurence Girard with instructions on how to create my Prevently account and the guidelines to begin writing articles.
The articles I wrote have never been edited let alone paid for. I contacted Laurence several times about the articles but he kept giving excuses that the website was taking longer than expect to set up, that the site would be up and running in about ten days, that he was working with his team (this weekend) and would get to them asap...just for me to be patient. All sorts of excuses.
So I tried to contact Kristen Faulkner about the non-payment issue but she no longer replies to emails.
Harvard University was contacted to see if Laurence Girard and Prevently were legit. The query email was answered by a lady (I will leave her name out of this) who said, "Prevently.com is not a current team in our current Venture Incubation Program. However, any degree-seeking Harvard student is eligible to use the i-lab. It is our understanding that Laurence is a degree seeking student in the Division of Continuing Education and as such would have access to the i-lab--I hope this information answers your questions."
It seems Laurence Girard is a continuing ed. student via online courses and has access to the university's iLab. He is not an on-campus student so is odd that he using Harvard's name as though he were a golden credential to promote this (non-functioning) Prevently health website. I have come across other writes hired by Laurence / Prevently that inform me Laurence has done this before - started a health website (Nutrias).
I highly suggest any writers who come across the name Laurence Girard or Kristen Faulkner (who is currently listed as the COO of Prevently) to not fall for the fake job offer. Not only will you end up giving up all your personal information (full name, address, SSN, bio and photo), you will also write tedious articles and not be paid! The platform is set up so that once articles are submitted, you cannot retrieve them, alter them, or delete them.
