Price Mad Constant lies New York

This is a follow up on my report filed a couple of weeks ago. I had a $150.00 charge credit coming that took almost three weeks to get.

Every time I called I received a different excuse. I was told each time that the claim had been filed with my credit card company.

I was told on four different occasions....

1) It has been applied for and we will send you the credit card company transaction numbers. You will receive the information in 24 hours.

2) 24 hours later nothing, called again, will receive in two hours.

3) Nothing by the next day, called again on Friday. You will get information by Monday.

4) Monday nothing, called again and was told it takes 10 to 14 days to post with the credit card company. I know this is another lie, it takes 24 to 48 hours tops.

5) Called again on Tuesday and said I was going to file a complaint with the credit card company. I was put on hold and about five minutes later I was told the claim was now filed with the credit card company and that I should see it posted in 24 to 48 hours. It posted in 48 hours ... I rest my case.

So what's all the bull s*** given in 1, 2 , 3, and 4 about?

On another note....
The salesman talked me into a set that he said was better than the one I wanted. I trusted him and went along with his advice. I checked a couple of days later and they told me the set had been shipped but there were no tracking numbers. I spent almost a month trying to find out where my tv was and got nothing but more lies from Price Mad.

After almost a month I called and threatened to call the credit card company and hung up. I got a quick call back and was told they would guarentee delivery in two days and I got FedEx tracking numbers.

When I received the set it was not the one that was supposed to have been shipped a month before and it was a little cheaper. I asked why they sent a different set and was told the set I had ordered was out of stock. Well if it was out of stock how could the tell me that it had been shipped a moth before??????

Like I said in my prior posting if you place a order with this Price Mad your nuts.

They will bait, switch, and lie to you time after time. I found out later from the New York BBB they are not a member and have a unsatifactory business report ...... GEE I WONDER WHY?

It took almost two months to complete this transaction. I still have a $200.00 rebate coming from Panasonic. I sure hope Price Mad has nothing to do with that.
