is there not a law against dishonest companies any longer ?? after being out of the trucking industry for over five years, i entered prime's cdl school to get my cdl back. they say they will pay for you lodging and meals which is a lie from the start, it all is an additional charge to you that you are expected to pay back. the school is non-existant..they have a few very classes which cover nothing and the makeshift test they give you at the end is a joke...they also give you all the answers to their test. there is, for lack of a better term, a cattle call for their on site driver training...as always, it is about the money they charge you. they told me that if i obtained my medical card and permit prior to arriving there i would not have to get them there...another lie....had to do it all again after paying for and getting my permit and med card before i left home..and of course they charged me for it..i have found Nothing in this company that isnt a Scam. after being on the road for 10 1/2 weeks (almost 3 months) with their so-called trainer, which does absolutely nothing except talk to his girlfriend on his cell phone or Scream at you all the time you are driving, i ask for a few days off, which you are supposed to get 1 day off for every week you are out ...another outstanding Prime bonus...i got dropped off, which this so-called trainer cried about because the road there had to many curves in it...Can you believe that?? anyway, both the trainer and the dispatcher Knew what day we agreed on for me to be picked back up. After many attempts to contact both of them, including email to the dispatcher directly, and receiving not one response from either one of them, i was told i was terminated. if you are thinking of Prime as an employer...DON'T !!!!! they are mis-leading, dishonest and care nothing about the drivers...my advice....RUN!!!
