I am so thankful for the internet and finding this site. After waiting patiently for the 8 weeks and still no $99 rebate check from Prime TV I called and asked why we had not received our rebate check , only to be informed I had not sent all the necessary paper work needed for the rebate.
I assured the representive that I had meticulously followed the instructions for the rebate. The representative (Philip) apologized, saying it was his first day, and he put me on hold to talk to his supervisor.
I was told to mail the agreement I had with Direct TV for 12 months of service (said that was the paper that was missing). I was assured I would receive my rebate check when they received that "missing agreement".
Within the hour I recalled and talked to another representative, and was given a different excuse (different missing paper). I remailed all the papers (thankfully I had made copies).
Today I called and was informed the rebate was VOID because I had not returned all the necessary papers in time.
I told the lady about my previous call and told her I wanted to speak to her supervisor, she said "sure you can talk to him but he is gonna tell you the same thing" I was put on hold for the longest time, then a recording "leave your name and telephone number on voice mail and get back to you. yeah right.
Prime TV used Mega International in my state to install my "free" dish.Prime TV failed to mention the donation of $99. I called Direct TV and talked to the nicest representive (Mickey) she is going to forward my complaint to Prime TV.
