Why you won't get the rebate
AUTHOR: Chris - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, October 09, 2003
POSTED: Thursday, October 09, 2003Sign and return the Annual Agreement
Sign and return the installation receipt
(the installer gives you a receipt, you mail it)
Return a copy of your first months bill
Why are these things important?
If you don't sign and return the agreement then we get a charge-back from the company of $130 per receiver. Yes, it only costs us $9 - $19 for the shipping and handling from the manufacturer and that's what you paid for it. Then we contracted with a company called Digivision to install your system. We paid them the "finders fee" and the guy came to your house and installed the system, right? Or did you do it yourself? -voids the refund if you did it yourself because the installer files a report on who, what, where, when, and how he installs your dish.. So don't try getting money back if you didn't pay for installation. Be happy you got a great deal on the equipment.
The copy of your first months bill shows us that you got it activated, thus we get paid an activation fee of $130 for the 1st receiver, $49 install incentive for each receiver you had installed, and $25 activation fee for each receiver after the first. All in all, we made $255 ($99 was install bonus, can you see the math?)
They pay us reps (the guys that answer the phones and tell you about Directv, $10 per sale, more if we get you to buy a warranty)
David & Annette Hagan own the company, I just work here. They've done an outstanding job of marketing DIRECTV. And I bring home about $4000 - $9000 a week. You see, I sell about 100 - 200 of these systems a week. More when there's a special event comming up or cable increases their rates in an area.
Other folks you might want to try to get results are Chris Cunningham, Eric Bates, Joe Bogey, Arron Zydonic, David Mitchell. Or you can call me back, my name is Chris Wilms.
Interestingly enough, some people lie and cheat about their installations. Or they fill out the refund forms / annual agreement forms in CRAYON (seriously, where you one of those people?)
