I recieved a call at my work from a John Wilton, he said he was recruiting people with customer service management skills to help open offices in the Cleveland Area and he got my name from an aquaintence.I went on an interview, and it sounded like a good opportunity. He asked me to come back to meet with the VP Ed, but told me not to be suprised if other candidates were there. I went that evening, and there were 9 others there, we were put in a room , and Ed's wife Stacy came in and told us all the good PrimeAmerica does for middle class families, then Ed came in and described how Citigroup wants to expand Prime Americas market share in the region. We would be charged $199.00 for training, but we would then be licensed in the state of Ohio ( for what he never said). I thought, allright I would have a finacial planners license and for $199.00 training. I was invited back for a third interview. When I got home from the mass interview I described the job to my wife, she urged me to look up Prime America from the BBB ( No listings) then I looked up their web site, and like many others I was suprised to find no job listings. I did a web search and came upon this site. After reading the first letter about the deceptive practices that this Pyramid scam uses. I called my wife to thank her for her good advice. As far as the third interview, I am cancelling that this morning. Thanks for a great site. To anybody out there that gets a call from them STAY AWAY-If it sounds too good, it probably is

Thanks for your report, I too got sucked in to this scam. When I got suckered in by a friend (who, incidentally is no longer a friend) I was in college and unemployed at age thirty.
I was called in to one of those silly cattle-call interviews and Ed & Stacy Ryan made their pitch-and of course, promised that the income is excellent and they help families- BS!
One of their major tactics is to make participants write down the names of friends and family who we were then expected to try and 'sell" the Primerica offerings too, or to recruit as fellow agents so you have a staff of producers under you-that's crap.
Yeah, right-Primerica has such an awful reputation that selling these services to any one but the truly ignorant is not going to happen.
If you are contacted by Ed, Stacy-or any of their cronies-one word, "Run". It will be a huge waste of your time.

I'm from Bedford, OH. Someone from Primerical came to one of our informal church gatherings on a Tuesday evening. He tried acting like this real devout christian, trying to tie things to the bible, as to why I should go to one of the meetings.
As soon as I heard the name, I knew I wasn't going to this meeting. 95% of the public that gets involved with this company ends up failing. The average person puts in fifty hours a week, making $15,000 a year. That is less than minimum wage.
This company is not good news.
