Primecast is by FAR the worst satellite TV provider company on the planet. Let's start with installation. First it takes days just to get someone to come out to connect it and then they cancel or just not show up or call you to let you know they are running late. It took over 4 hours just to connect a TV and computer. During installation the installer calls in to get a internet web address and the person on the other end of the phone says sorry our entire state has no internet at this time.
Once you do FINALLY get the tv and internet connected, the service is HORRIBLE. The tv pixilates all day long to the point that you end up only getting to watch a quarter of the show if any at all. If you change channels to many times you end up actually losing over half of your channels and cant get them back. The signal from the remote to the tv is extremely slow or often none existent. The internet will often just completely shut your computer entirely off, freeze pages, not load pages, and has completely rebooted my computer twice making me loose everything on my computer. They charge you $9.95 for what they say is insurance for their faulty equipment so you dont get charged a service fee, but instead they charge you $85.00 service calls anyway saying that it wasnt covered under that policy. And it is always an issue that is beyond their realm of comprehension.
Now let's talk about their billing. OH MY GOD it is ridiculous!! The prices are NEVER what they say they are going to be. Every bill is messed up and has issues. If you try to dispute any part of the bill, they say that you are refusing to pay it and disconnect your entire service. Anytime you call in about the bill, the amounts always change. You could call in 4 times in one hour and get told that you owe four different amounts. Not only that but you could also end up getting the $85.00 service call charge for calling in about your bill!
I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone and I would never use them again!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
