On 08-09-2004 at Prince Frederick Ford/Mercury in Prince Frederick,MD. I was looking at the following vechical a 2004 Ranger pickup reg.cab. vin # as follows 1FTYR10D34PB20664.

I told the 23 yrs. old saleman looking for the following vechical moreless as a Farm Truck. On a local horsefarm on Broomes Island, MD (parents house). And wanted to be between $240-$280. Car payment. Being I just file a chapter 7 about 5 yrs ago.

And didn't want to screw myself again, had somewhat decent credit and somewhat of a normal finical life again. And the other was my insurance payment. Having a 1994 dodge shadow payment is $103.00 month ( accident in 12-2002 during snowstorm).

I told the young salesman Donald (been there only 3weeks) As long as I can get the car/insurance payment around $240-$260. I could possibly do it meaning close the deal. SO the finiance manager step in name is Tony. And gave me a 12% apr. for 6 yrs. price was $16,999.00 is now w/financing $27,999.00 ..

During the dealings I told Tony please let me get my car insurance straight first. Before I go out again and screw myself. I must have had mentioned this proably aleast a good 10 times or more maybe +/-. It seemed like it went one ear and came out the other.

I said to Tony Let me check with insurance first before we close the deal. He says' ok then let get the papers out and sign them. I said wait a minute, reminding Tony about my CH.7 He said you I would hold it for you. But it wouldn't be yours until you can get the insurance straight first.

I said ok. So he signed and type out the yellow long form and the long white form ( purchase order/maintance order). And then struck up a conversation about nothing at all what we where doing. He puts long white form above the long yellow form. Now this is the good part. The white form is about 2 inches raised higher then the yellow form.

In which he was doing was covering the clause that says You can not return the car basically at the bottom of the long yellow form ( car purchase order). It says There is no cooling off period. ANd I had mention to Tony I didn't want to screw myself on this deal and he said don't worry you aren't.

Maryland from what I am told there a 72 hours (3 day) period where you can take the car back and reclosse the deal. Well, after I just screwed myself. They tried to give me keys to the car. And I said to Tony and Donald, I want to get insurance before I drive it off the lot. And is still there till the present day. ( dark blue color).

Came back again to the dealership ( let the car insurance place in Dunkirk,MD). I was really scared.. I told Tony, They just told me I would have to pay $550.00 month insurance on just this pickup truck (full coverage). By the way they brought the car payment to $340.00 and with a c/p of $550.00 = $890.00.. I told Tony that is more than my rent of $780.00, minus utilites car insurance of $103.00 on my other 1994 dodge shadow.

Phone bill, cable bill, and other horse expenses. With a salary of $15.00 do the math if interested. I told Tony many, many times I can affaord this p/u . He says I can get insurance through my connections. I stood up in my chair and said in a nice meanful way. I can not afford these payments.

So needless to say 2 days later p/u truck is still there on the lot. And they fired Donald already because he couldn't sell me the car. I have talked to my auto attorney in Pr. Frederick. And she said try and be nice and ask them if I can walk away from this deal and that way no one has to pay for arbitration.

I mentioned it to Tony about this. He gave Bob Badman card the VP of that store. I have been mistreated and lied to, been misguided,..

I advise anyone that lives in our little county of Calvert to be warry of Prince Frederick Ford/Mercury. They lie to you, to sell you a car. I am single man with no kids I own one percheron draft horse I consider him my 4 legged son. I have nothiing but what I just wrote here in this report. They are true I have nothing to gain and everything to lose again.

I will answer any comments or anyone in the law field that could help me on this matter. I really wanted to reach across Tony's desk and just rip his throat out, cut off his balls. And hang them around his review mirror. I feel like I have been taken advantage of big time.

Sir with all do respect, before bashing a company and it's employees, you should check to see what the problem here REALLY is. FIRST ALWAYS ALWAYS call your insurance company to find out WHAT the difference in your insurance payments would be if we were to purchase this specific vehicle, so that you KNOW in advance if/what you could afford. That being said, sounds like consumer error or ignorance if you will.

Second, there is NO such thing as a COMPLETELY HONEST salesman so that is also a consumers responsiblity to know the facts before ever setting foot into ANY dealings when purchasing a big product whether it is a house, boat, CAR/Truck. Anyone working on commission has to make a living, not all commissioned employees are theives, not all of them lie , but they ALL have to pay their bills and feed their families. As it may be your dealings with Tony may not have been pleasant but that does NOT make PRINCE FREDERICK FORD a deceptive car dealer. I take my vehicles there for Service and have had nothing but WONDERFUL service from DREW and Johnny alike.

You should learn to spell and grow up, that is not something a mature adult with his life together says. Your grammar and such shows you are a local who didn't get much schooling in the English/spelling department.

But please for us well raised and well respectable woman who read these reports those are not the productive comments we prefer to read.
