I agree with the above reports. The one in New York at 18East 41st is one of the worst agencies. They will call you and give you this hard sell to get you to interview. They will tell you a potential employer is "really interested in you and loves your resume". Then you go to the interview(actually more like an interrogation) and you don't get the job. The agency doesn't care who they hire as long as they place a body so they can make money. I even tried to explain how the interview went, to the woman who sent me out and she said, " Yeh...you told me the story already". I am not going to mention her name, but obviously she couldn't care less about me or what happened. She could have shown me a little courtesy and at least listened for a few minutes, but she didn't care. I was essentially interrogated by a tightass at the BRC up in Harlem. She looked like she was having a bad day. I was not thrilled about the commute, and probably would have not taken the job anyway. 62K for a directors position? Ridiculous. Oh.. and by the way the agency neglected to tell me that I would be on call on the weekends. A horrible experience. Don't deal with this agency. They don't care about you. All the employees are basically robots who have been told what to say and when to say it. They see you as a piece of paper/resume and not a person.
