I have had acne as long as I can remember. After seeing all the celebrity claims and the regular before and after pics of people, I thought what the hell I will take the "risk free trial" with the added gift of the refining mask, and an upgrade to priority shipping, for only $19.99. I heard it on the radio, I saw it on the commercials, and even online. Guareenteed or your money back even send back the empty bottles that is how sure we are you will be satisfied. Well I wasn't not only did it take over a week and a half to get to my house, when it arrived I was charged 48.95 plus shipping and handling charges???!!!! I thought they said free priority shipping??? And what is with this 48.95???? I thought well I have already paid for it let me try it, and guess what it didn't work. I called after 3 1/2 weeks of using it without wearing any make up, changing my diet, and following all thier instructions. I call to cancel my "membership" which I didn't want in the first place but they automatically sign you up for it, and then they tell me it could take longer and I should wait or try more of their products. Why the hell would I do that you said this would work and it didn't. I have to now send back the products to them to get my refund but get this I HAVE TO PAY THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING!!!! It gets even better, because they won't recieve it in time I will be automatically charged again. How is that possible??? I called and cancelled my membership that I didn't want in the first place. I would not reccomend dealing with this company what so ever. They rip you off so they can afford to pay Puff Daddy or P diddy or whatever he is called this week, Vanessa Williams, and Jessica Simpson to lie to you. I am sure it has nothing to do with the expensive spa treatments, all the plastic surgery I am sure it is just the Proactiv. I can't believe I fell for this. I hope no one else has to endure this evil company. Buyer Beware!!! What they claim is only a risk free trial at no cost to you ends up costing you quite a bit of money. I will supposedly be refunded within 4-6 weeks after they recieve my package!!!! It only took them a few hours to take the money from my account when I was only told it would cost me $19.99. Isn't that illegal????? If I have any further problems with this company or if they do not honor my refund I will be sure to Update this site. Please do not be fooled by proactiv's lies and deciet they will charge you a fortune to pay their celebrity spokespeople. I am a stay at home mom, I wanted to do something for myself and now I have learned my lesson. It just isn't worth it, if it sounds too good to be true it is. I will never buy another acne product online or through the mail again. EVER!!! My overall view is Proactiv is a fradulant company who takes advantage of a serious conditon people suffer from for profit, they are sick and evil. I am tired of companies being able to take advantage of people with all the fine print and hidden charges there should be a law against such injustice. Thanks for listening I hope this keeps someone else from suffering the same fate as me.
