I ordered Proactiv for my daughter as I have seen all the commercials on tv for acne. Even the movie stars use it. We received our first shipment and I paid for that. However, about a month laterI took my daughter to a dermatologist who told me to take her off Proactiv t immediately. ( Not a good product) I tried to cancel my order but was talked into just putting it on hold. I said sure, busy with 3 children full time and being a single mother, I did not want the run around and just wanted to get off the phone. Little did I know a few month later, I saw our mail lady and told her to return the shipment-I never even touched the box. I then called Proactiv to find out yes, they did ship me a 3 month shipment- can were charging my credit card- I told them to cancel everything. I was told I could not have a refund as they did not receive their package back. It would take them 3 to 4 weeks but in the meantime to expect two more charges to my credit card------I called Amercian Express and immediately and disputed the charges. They did this- However, I am still getting a bill for Proactiv trying to charge me over 40 bucks for shipping and handling etc.. I am not sure what is going on here. I have called no less then 5 times to cancel product, get refunds, and have been told sorry since American Express would not pay them- they were coming back to me. I said , " What do you people not get?" I did a chargeback- have tried to cancel, have tried to get a refund, and nothing with this company works. I would never spend another dime with this company. I then got a letter saying my account was overdue and would be sent to collections. The customer service was horrible- I was expecting, "I am sorry," or " what can we do to make it right?" I got nothing other than I owed the money. Never use this company or give them a credit card. You will continue to be charged over and over again. Save your money on a reputable company. Proactiv has no morals or ethics.
