Procard International: This company claims you can make $35-$55K+ from home per year by becoming an Associate of their company. You adverise to recruit other Associates and/or sell memberships to their health discount program. I fell for their trap!

You pay the company monthly to be an active member of their company (set up by automatic monthly draft on the first of each month). I signed up with the company because they seemed SO legit and said you can cancel at anytime, but I NEVER made a dime, even though I followed all of their instructions and spent countless upon countless hours working at it.

I finally decided to cancel my membership and account with them and I was informed that my cancellation would be processed upon the company recieving my written letter of cancellation and my membership cards sent back, through the mail. I sent the following back at the beginning of the month and received an email that it was received. Well, since then it has been a whole month, I have emailed them five times and everytime received a reply saying, "we received your cancellation and are processing it at this time".

It only took me a few days to be set up with the company, why would it, or could it take A WHOLE MONTH to cancel my membership? Answer: So they can sit on it as long as possible, until it is finally the first of the month and they can draft my account AGAIN for a service I do not use, do not need and have tried to CANCEL!

It is now September 28th 2002, 2 days away from the day they will draft my account and I cannot do anything to stop it, just sit back, get scammed and watch them steal my money out of my account for a membership that I cancelled a moth ago. HOW do you sick people (at Procard International) sleep at night? Monsters!

spot on kent

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

Site is  a joke - hook for selling web sites for monthly fee! Anyone can get same

discounts and benefits for free w/o paying for ludicrous web hosting. Buyer

bewares, do your home work. Don't waste your time on if it sounds to good to be

true
, guess what? They offer no legitimate advice, SEO tactics(you have no

control of your website presence), key words. Community suggestions are lame, immature

at best!! Tear a  phone number sheets for

bulletin boards, for Laundromats? Stupid is stupid does!!! Lol! Site is a joke,

built to suck in the gullible!!!

Pro Card International is not my choice!

AUTHOR: Leave The Mess To The Best - (U.S.A.)

I replied to what I thought was a legit job on Craigslist. These people placed a ad that made it look as though they needed employees. So I responded and even sent my resume to this person.

Next thing I know, I have this email telling me to follow some link to work from home. Well, I decided to google this company and was shocked to see the ripoff report links. Well, reviewing the reports and mostly the comments made on here by the "employees" of this company, I am again reminded why I am happy sites like ripoff report are here! This company has threatened, and disclosed information on this site and has the nerve to think any attorney is going to assist them in legal action against someone who has made "slanderous" statements?

If you want to quote the law, it is not slander. It is Lible.

I would reccommend simply to everyone who reads these reports to simply use your own judgement.

These reports are here, regardless of WHO is right and WHO is wrong.

Ripoffreport claims that IF you are wrongfully reported, there are ways to handle it.

This company has caused more harm than good just in the ways they have responded.

If you truly value the people you are seeking to work for you, I would think you would cooperate and investigate and learn how to respond to people. You are still in the customer service field and should have handled these issue better. There is no excuse for the responses that you gave and does put into question the values of this company and the other individuals working for it.

It puts into question a lot of things.

I would recommend anyone that has complaints to file them with the BBB as I saw logo on their website. You can also go directly and file a report (usually online) with the Attorney General (if you strongly believe this is a "scam")

I responded to the person I sent my resume to and gave her a link to these reviews. I hope she knows about them.

The Ethical Dentist

AUTHOR: Suze H - (U.S.A.)

I use the service(medical discounts) and it has saved me plenty of money. I have three children and I get half off dnetal and Rx for about 15 dollars a month. My dentist turned me on to this program and when I was struggling to pay the bill. I am very grateful for his selfless suggestion and it has helped me greatly. He uses any money he makes receives from referrals(sp?) from the website to perform discounted, often free, teeth cleaning and other routine procedures at shelters around the city. He asked if I would pass the word along so that is what I am here doing. He gave me his card and it says use the access code RyanG5303 when registering for employment or the discount card. The websites on the card are as follows.

For the Medical Discount:

To sign up for employment:

Years of employment

AUTHOR: Jess - (U.S.A.)

Linda from Sarasota said that she has been with them for 3 years. I would like to know how hard/much she is working and what kind of income she is making (good, very good, or absurd amounts of money) I want to stay home with my children and I would like to know if it worth it?
I'm sure there are going to be things that I don't like about the company but I work full time behind a desk now and I love my job but there are literally 100's of things that I don't like about it.

Not everyone feels that way

AUTHOR: Linda - (U.S.A.)

Just a little note I have been with procard for 3 years, and they have always been real good working with . I have used my discount card at physican offices, the dentist and for eyecare. I have saved quite a bit of money. When you join this you have to work at it to make money. Nothing is free in life. You have to work at it to be successful. And it takes more time then just a month. And also for the record, no one told me what to write I just wanted to give my point of view this is a free country you know.

I agree that this company is a scam

AUTHOR: Rebecca - (U.S.A.)

I don't care what any of you guys are selling (promoting), you are, IN FACT, scamming people out of their money. I don't care what kind of rebuttal is put up after mine, I know the truth, and I don't need to read your excuses, or guarantees. You should all be aressted, anyone who works for your company. And to Nicole the "executive office manager" : Nice job on degrading the original poster, making her feel stupid for making a small spelling error was really big of you. I bet you think you are better than her. Your not.

Get over yourself. Don't work for this company, they will take your money, and your income is not guaranteed. By the way, I have no personal expirience with this company. I am not a former employee. I just know better.

Questions to alleged victims

AUTHOR: Orville - (U.S.A.)

First: I am not yet associated with Procard International, but am considering doing so even after reading all complaints and rebuttals.

First Question: Has anyone had their identity stolen by this company or any of it's associates.

Second Question: Has anyone had their Social Security Number misused in any way?

I might have future questions, but these two are all I presently have.

savings on perscriptions and medical personnal

AUTHOR: Vickie - (U.S.A.)

I have been with Procard International for a few years and have had no problem with them. I am considered a associate. I enrolled to recieve the discounts offered. I do have the option to "work from home" at any time, but I have chosen at this time to only use the discounts. My family has recieved numerous discounts on dental and perscriptions, these total alot more than the monthly membership charge.

The associates making $35k or more have been with the company for 3 or 4 years as stated in their site. A person has to work for the money,Jen did not give it time to work for her.She seems to be impatient and not willing to put in the time and patients it takes to start a home business. She also is stated things that did not happen yet, referring to the monthly charge that was not even taken out yet.

I just wanted to let the consumers know I have had no problems with this company and am satisfied with the discounts i recieve.

Where do they come from?

AUTHOR: Quinn - (U.S.A.)

Procard International spends a lot of time with rebuttals. I can see people with complaints coming here to search out complaints but when you get these other people going to bat for Procard, one must ask, how were they alerted if not from the inside. So, the game is, let Procard have the last work in this debate and they'll go away. Only sleepless nights for the devious.

Rebuttal to Procard Internationals cancellation policy

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

I signed up with procard about a year ago and I activated myself for two reasons.

#1. I wanted the benefits for myself and family.

#2. I felt that I could promote the product to prospects better if I could speak from experience as to how well it works.

Then after a while I found it necessary to cancel my membership. As they bill your account on the first of the month I sent them a letter giving them 30 days notice of my needing to cancel, and before the next billing date my account was cancelled with absolutly no problems of any kind. So if you follow the rules you will have no problem.

Since then I have been able to start back with them and again I have to say if you follow the rules that you agree to when you sign your IC Statememt then you will have no problems.

Procard is a company that will take care of it's associates.

Here's something for everyone to remember-

You will only get out of your business what you put into it.

AUTHOR: Michael - (U.S.A.)

Again, I would like to share facts since people comment freely without reviewing the facts that are already presented.

We do NOT expect anyone to find their own active account without information and assistance. Anyone can see for themselves by completing registration (yes, it is totally free) and using the 14 days to review our Product tab and all available marketing information and tools. Just check it out for yourself before you jump to conclusions and read reviews from people who do NOT have the information to form an educated submission.

We even provide extensions if someone needs more than 14 days to review the materials and put them to use.

Insincerity and Double-talk from Procard International

AUTHOR: Quinn - (U.S.A.)

Josh from Charlotte, North Carolina makes an excellent point of Procard International's insincerity by pointing out that there is no way an individual could take Procards's advice to find someone else to pay their fees without knowing what to say as a selling point. Duh!!! Also, the mere fact that Procard International requires your credit card information to take advantage of their "FREE" services is all one needs to know that it is a deception aka fraud. No one from the company or in any rebuttal dare address this discrepancy or double-talk.

For years Rip-off reports has provided this service for victims to help warn well-intentioned consumers. So I thank all who have bothered to post their concerns and this forum for helping us understand what Procard International would rather us not.

Procard International's Values and Policies

AUTHOR: Rachel - (U.S.A.)

I have worked with PCI for over 5 years. I am presenting the facts.

The cancellation policy for any member who willingly enrolls themselves (please remember that you are NOT required to enroll yourself to work with the company)is to submit a handwritten letter to the company (preferrable)containing the membership cards. That's it. The company has never changed that policy, it is outlined in the agreement that is signed by each active associate. It might be inconvenient for some, but that is the paper trail we require to process a cancellation.

There seem to be many comments in regards to whether you have to pay money or not. NO. You are NEVER, EVER required to enroll yourself or spend a single cent to become an associate of PCI.

We do provide free marketing tools and information to help people to become active without enrolling themselves. We offer support via email to answer any questions at any time. We have product information to send, marketing information to send...we will address any questions that are sent to our customer service email division.

Rather than posting such negative and incorrect comments, email customer service and ask your questions. We will show you exactly how to get started for FREE!

#20 REBUTTAL Individual responds

Definately

AUTHOR: Chris - (U.S.A.)

I am currently going through the same situation. I have never used this program although I must have signed up when I was still in high school because I don't even remember it. I went into the United States Marine Corps and didn't have the opportunity to monitor my account as I would have liked to. Upon my return to the states on several occasions my account at my credit union was in the negative. I have sent in a cancelation request once allready. Apperently they never received the letter and the lady I spoke with told me it could be because they had moved to a different address and that could be why they didn't receive it.

Now I am liable for $100 in fees for something that I don't and have never used. But that goes to show how well this company is run. It must have been at least 4 years of innactivity on my account but nobody there realized it? They never sent any letters nor tried to contact me about this matter. Even the casino I frequent that loves to take my money sends me a letter if I haven't used my account there to gamble in a while. I just don't understand how it is possible to consider yourself a good company when you treat people like that.

Even if it was only one associate, it shouldn't be like that. Unfortunately it is, and as long as they can get away with it and not have to change policies they will continue to do the same. I just have one question. HOW HARD WOULD IT BE TO CANCEL AN ACCOUNT WITH AN UNHAPPY ASSOCIATE OVER THE PHONE? All they require is a signed letter with the information of the associate. Why could they not jus take the information over the phone or via email? Poorly ran. I will update after I send THIS letter in and how long it takes to cancel this account.

Try to cancel your membership and they will side-step and avoid it as much as possible and for as long as possible!

In my own opinion, Procard International is simply run by clever crooks and scammers!!!

Beware of them. My opinion is that they're a scam!

AUTHOR: Shawna - (U.S.A.)

I just want to say if in 2004 ProCard needed billing info to become an associate, please note that is no longer the case. Weather they took your advice or came up with it on their own, you have two weeks to 'produce', and they give you tips on how to do so. You have the option of enrolling yourself or someone else. My guess is the between the lines reason for this is to weed out those who are serious and those who are not. Thank You,

I cant believe all the negative reports on Procard. This is a LEGITIMATE company that do not require you to pay this so called 15 bucks. They didnt break ya neck to pay for a plan. All you do is sign up and get one active account. How hard is it to get one person to become active than you get all the free leads you want. I can't believe these complaints

AUTHOR: Lisa - (U.S.A.)

Hello,

My name is Lisa and I can certainly empathize with anyone from Procard having to deal with the first "complaint" on this page. I have been in customer service for over 30 years - and if I know anything - it's when you see comments such as a company has "screwed" someone, are "liars" or "scam artists" - it without a doubt is always someone looking for cash back for something they claim to have been wronged.... I agree it is completely frustrating....

I looked this up because my daughter is starting with Procard and I wanted to check it out. I see complaints that their associates have to buy or pay for the service themselves and it is written in big red letters right on there that you DON'T - but rather only need one active account to qualify for free leads to be sent to you. What is the problem? Enrolling members IS THE JOB ITSELF....why would one account be a problem when that is actually the job itself?? If you can't get one enrollment - why would you even apply because it obviously would not even work for you? That is a pretty low bar to get over to work with them and get the free leads....

I am amazed at all the comments and commend a company for defending itself - that tells me they have the information to fully stand behind the facts of the matter. Too many companys out there automatically give into anyone complaining about anything because they are scared of the situation - Bravo to a company that gives the facts and is willing to stand up for itself - you don't see that happen too often these days!

I have read over the infoon Procard and seems like something I would recommend to anyone.

My own neighbor has a small business and just listed himself on their DISCOUNTS division for free advertising for his business. What a good outlet for him and others like him....

I wish all Procard associates good luck in their futures...

READ THE SMALL PRINT, BE ATTENTIVE TO DETAIL, ASK QUESTIONS

AUTHOR: M L - (U.S.A.)

All of the above strategies work. Above all, be realistic in your expectations. I have read all of the posts on the rip-off report syndrome regarding this company. I just joined them. I am waiting for my leads. I understand that, like any land-based job, you have to WORK the leads.

The company states that they are not a get rich scheme. Most of us who join were looking for a job to provide needed income. If you expect more, without working for it, you need help. WILL WORK FOR ..... signs?

Here's a thought: Those of you who have been so disgruntled...try this. Put on a Pro Card Manager hat, and do a better job at managing your "account" or "experienc". Do a better job than they have. Then you can talk.

I am intersted in the company

AUTHOR: AMY - (U.S.A.)

I am intersted in the company. But I had to push my self back from the company. I think that it is a great way to earn money at home part time or full time. And I don't mind the discount plan because I can always use a discount. l would perfer to speak with someone over the phone. So I feel uncomfortable about the company! I tried calling the 1800 number and I can't reach a live person, I get an answering machine. I would feel more comfortable calling the number and a customer service rep answer the phone. It always feels better to talk with a live person. I have left message after message but no one will return my calls. When I called the local discount number they only have that one number, I called information they only have that one number. You are loseing someone that is very intersted in your company.

Procard Excellent Company to work for!

AUTHOR: Phyllis - (U.S.A.)

This is the first time I have seen or even heard bad comments about Procard. I have been with Procard for close to two years now and I have only Good things to say about them.

This company provided me a way to stay home with my three children, my newest addition is only 15 months old

Just to clarify a few things because I know someone else will read this comment and might look at Procard in a negative light. Procard definitely does offer potential associates a way to activate into their system without paying a so called fee!

Procard has what is called a business to business program, please view this on their website before passing judgement on this company. I think It is good that Procard offers a discount to any would be associate that would like to sign up for their services......notice I said like to not have to.

The bottom line is this, Procard is a Great company and you can earn Great Money!! If you will spend time working the program and give it time to work!!! you will definitely make money and a very good income I might add for someome just sitting around at home.

I hope my post will help others such as myself earn a good income from home with Procard.

Procard Int'l is a great company to work for

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

I have had a great experience with Procard International. I've been with the company as an Associate since September 2003. Once I found out about it, I studied the program for the several days before signing up; I then studied more intensely while waiting for my paperwork to be processed.

I found a lot of useful information to help me succeed, especially after getting my access to the Associate pages. Just like anything else, it takes EFFORT to succeed. Maybe even some hard work for awhile. And it takes patience. I know of no legitimate business where you can go to bed at night, and wake up rich.

As to finding new associates, I have found that many of the prospects from the leads just don't bother to look into this business as I did. In fact, I'm wondering how many times my information replies that I've sent to the prospects don't get lost in all the spam that are filling mailboxes. In other words, many of these people didn't even bother to read the information they requested.

It's usually people with little or no information about who or what they are upset with, that end up complaining the most. I'm pretty sure that it is common for people to try to find someone to blame when THEY fail.

After this amount of time, and makiing some money, even when my wife was ill, I could get away for a few moments to work the job, I could work from home. Will I make $35K this year? Probably not, and I didn't expect to. But whatever I make is going to make me happy right now. I now have all kinds of time, and need to have something like this to do to keep my sanity.

That is because my wife and partner in life passed away in February 2004, very unexpectedly. I'm using the great knowledge that Connie had taught me in our 8 years together, and that is to be kind to people. Your friends are also your family. And, always follow the Golden Rule.

And here is the plan, to build a large client base utilizing Procard's new LocalDiscounts.com. If you are looking for a great work from home idea, this is it! Just look it over and think about the potential.

Don't worry about those that get in for a month and bail. They aren't interested or may they just don't stick with things, who knows, who cares! Do you think Procard is the only company that's ever had a complaint lodged against them? Do you have any idea how many people complain about their auto manufacturer, computer dealer, or whatever?

But, if you have been reading all the way through this thread, guess what you'll find out: that it ends up being your decision as to who you want to believe. I hope that you always make decisions based on all of the information available.

By the way, a few days after my wife's funeral, I told one of the company office employees about my wife's passing in an email, and a few days later, on March 10, there's a entry extending their condolences in the Daily News found on the website (the public can view the Daily News area). Wow, I thought that was very kind, and I knew I was doing the right thing. That's the "fruit on the tree". That's how a person knows if it's good or evil. I always go with the "GOOD" company. They are ethical, helpful, and pretty nice people at Procard International HQ.

I only have had GREAT experiences with Procard International

AUTHOR: Jessica - (U.S.A.)

I ran across this site - I used to work for Procard a couple years ago and did very, very well -- didn't have to pay them to work - they always did what they said and my pay (to work at home no less) was always pretty good!

I have since stopped working due to family obligations -- but would go back in a heart beat if the opportunity came around again for me to do so. I have many friends who still work with Procard - especially their Local Discounts division - which is pretty cool -- very tempting for me to go back! They all love it for the flexibility...

I have also worked in other customer service jobs in the past - and can see where a customer service person comes from when dealing with customers who state inaccuarate info - it can be very upsetting - especially now - when anyone can post anything they like on the iternet - it makes it double frustrating that unbiased info cannot be heard over complaints. I'm sure not everyone has a good experience - that would be almost impossible statistically -- but they are a tried and true reputable company for many years now.

It certainly makes one take a step back. ..the attitude and threats made by the employee of the company within this thread make it very clear how this company works

AUTHOR: D - (U.S.A.)

As someone who has a family member inquire about this company, here is a summary of the main concerns:

1. The company *requires* an employee ("associate") to pay a monthly fee to keep a membership. Why? An employee doesn't have to be a continuous member to be familiar with the product, and what if the employee doesn't need or want the product? If a company is so insistent that the employee be a member, why doesn't the company pay for it?

2. The company advertises "free" leads (or contacts), but from their Independent Contractor Statement at http://budgetcare.netfirms.com/policies.htm , it says "Associates must regularly qualify to receive FREE leads and FREE long distance. Procard International is NOT obligated to furnish FREE leads and FREE long distance but can make them available on a first come, first served basis for qualified Associates."
So first you have to pay monthly for the membership, then (if you don't "qualify", whatever that means) you have to pay regularly for leads?!?

3. As noted above, the attitude and threats made by the employee of the company within this thread make it very clear how this company works.

Take a look at the above, and make your own decision... but I personally think the title of this website spells it out just about correct.

$35,000-55k after 3 yrs?

AUTHOR: Josh - (U.S.A.)

i went to the site today to find out about info on joining, i was lost about how to find the "first" person to join, i could have been looking in the wrong places BUT let say for instance, you do go out and find one person to sign up, what do you tell them? how do you explain all the benefits? how they are billed etc etc..what do they expect you to do, just go out and tell a friend, "hey, sign up for this program for me" friend says , "what all do i get" you say, "i dont know, just sign up"..granted you could direct them to the website, but if you, there friend cannot explain it to them and have proof as a friend it is legit, how are you going to tell them to take the website for gold? also, someone replied earlier post in here:For the statement about not makeing 35,000-55,000 a year! It says right on the website employee that have been with the company for 3 or more years!
i did notice on one page it said that, and another page it said 4 or more yrs, anyone else see that?

WAS considering Procard, rethinking MY position were the comments from the company rep.

AUTHOR: Angel - (U.S.A.)

I came here to check out this company, and found only three threads. Any company can have a few disgruntled employees, customers, associates, whatever. The original author of this particular report does seem to be jumping the gun a bit. If all I had read were the complaints, as well as the supporters on the same threads, I probably would have considered Procard legitimate, and perhaps even a great company to work for. What caused me to rethink MY position were the comments from the company rep. Everything from legal threats, to angry, personal responses, and VERY unprofessional. That is too bad. Procard might be a wonderful company to work for, but a LOT of people read this site. Perhaps they need a different rep reading this site, because this one is not shining a good light on the company at all.
Just my two cents.

This is shady to say the least!!

AUTHOR: Lee - (U.S.A.)

From reading the comments of others after starting to sign up with Procard International (PI), I have to say this indeed is a duck; if it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck it is a duck. I do not see any other way to put it, but PI is an MLM; no if ands or buts about it. Even if I do not have to personally sign up for their service I still have to get some unsuspecting person to sign up for the service in order to become an associate. If PI really wants to help people work from home and earn extra money as they put it, remove this requirement.

One of the responses states PI removed the Human Resources interviewing process because they could not service all of the people that want to sign up to become associates. Well then, this has saved the company money. Give those that wish to become and associate 30 days to produce and if they do not remove them as an associate. Simple as that. Then, Procard International will not receive these types of negative feedback because they REQUIRE billing information before an interested party can become an associate.

This is simply my comments. I have been taken by other To Good To Be True offers and will not allow Procard International to take my money as others have.

AUTHOR: Kent - (U.S.A.)

Thank You Kyle
At least some associates of Procard, demonstrate tact instead of threats.

However I have been over the Procard Website a few times.

I am not above admitting when I am in the wrong! If They specifically provide a link to show you how to get involved with 0 out of pocket. Please post it as I was unable to locate one.

Furthermore as posted in my earliest response I have never stated Procard to Be a scam
My involvement stems from the hostility, threats and a self righteous attitude demonstrated by, Nicole Adams office manager Procard International, L.L.C.

Once again I will state I was unable to proceed with associate registration without entering billing information. In the event I have left out parts from the Procard Website that would prove my statements wrong it was unintentional! If you were referring to the red letters stating You need never buy or join anything to be a member I've seen this a hundred and one times right before being asked for My Credit Card Number! As far as why an associate needs a bona fide enrollment this to is old news and is usually followed by a package in the mail of worthless software or pamphlets explaining how to become a gold/executive member for only $$$! ( Im not stating that Procard asks or sends anything) unfortunately this is more often then not the case scenario.

One other concern was the cost of leads $10 to $15 for a package that sells for $14.95
I understand this to be the basic price. But surly you yourself can see where this would raise concern.

Once Again Kyle I intend no malice nor sarcasim towards you and Thank you for youre response.
I would greatly appreciate the Link Address to Getting started with 0 out of pocket.

There is no contradiction on my behalf Its procards Website

AUTHOR: Kent - (U.S.A.)

You Are Wrong What you mean is this will receive no more Audience from you!
However for the thousands of readers who will see these posts each and every day, consider the following There is no contradiction on my behalf paragraphs 2 Thru 5 were taken directly from different pages of Procards Web Page https://www.procardinternational.com/index2.htm

To become an "Active" Associate requires activation of your Access Code, which is completed with (1) active account or initial bona-fide enrollment. Procard International's Support Staff has helped thousands of Associates complete this step quickly and easily!

This states (1) active account or initial bona-fide enrollment. According to your web this is For as low as $14.95/month for your ENTIRE family! Or $9.95 with an associate discount!

Also directly from different pages of Procards Web Page https://www.procardinternational.com/index2.htm

Q: Why do I need an Initial Bona-fide enrollment?
A: The Initial Bona-fide Enrollment became a company policy for one simple reason. Historically, Procard International used an entire Human Resource Department to screen, interview, and hire Associates. Procard International could only hire Associates where we had physical offices because of the interview process. This prevented thousands of candidates from exploring an opportunity with the company because they lived too far away for in-person interviews. Because the lead cost is $10-$15/ lead, Procard International must be certain to hire Associates who are serious about working at home. By requiring an Initial Enrollment, Procard International can be confident that a candidate is serious about the opportunity without having to complete the interview process.

The preceding is also a little unbelievable no company would pay $15.00 for a lead to sell a product for $14.95 and stay in business for 10 years, common sense tells me either this is fabricated or the product is seldom purchased at the rate of $14.95

so we have established there is a contradiction however it is Procards not mine.
Further more as I previously stated I attempted to sign up but was not allowed to continue without Billing information if it does not cost a Dime, then why does Procard need my Credit Card Number?

As far as My Name John Q Public INFORMED AMERICAN CONSUMER, The worst nightmare to any company, trying to slide one buy. But why don't you have it and my address and phone number, oh that's right I couldn't get past the billing information! There cant be that many Kent's In sandy Utah!

Regarding your very weak stab at Me!
I didn't state the whole county, I stated there corrupt justice System! In regards to your continual threats of legal actions to anyone willing to Question Procards Practices.
Yes I Am Familiar, I lived and owned a business In Shawnee Mission Kansas for 8 years.
The laws are at most sketchy on what is Legal and what is Moral!

Now go read your dam web site before you waste the time of others. That is where the contradictions are! https://www.procardinternational.com/index2.htm

so we have established there is a contradiction however it is Procards not mine.
Further more as I previously stated I attempted to sign up but was not allowed to continue without Billing information if it does not cost a Dime, then why does Procard need my Credit Card Number?

AUTHOR: Nicole - (U.S.A.)

Your comments are not correct...and contradicts itself... NO ONE is required to pay a dime! We have been in business for over 10 years and have thousands of successful associates all over the country and our office is most certainly willing to back up any statements we make regarding this matter.

I also am certainly willing to put my name to my comments.

As for your thoughts on an entire county being "corrupt" - I suppose you will have to take that up with them as you seem so "familiar"...??

This will get no more audience...

Procard False Advertising and plenty of Threats

AUTHOR: Kent - (U.S.A.)

To Nicole
I cant say if your company is a scam. But you are liars and seeing how you like threatning people with your legal dept. When you forward your letter on libal and slander Have them take a look at purgery and false addvertising. Your right it states all over your web site in huge red letters
YOU ARE NEVER REQUIRED TO BUY NOR INVEST ANYTHING TO WORK WITH PROCARD INTERNATIONAL!!

But thats not true is it!

The following is taken from your site

To become an "Active" Associate requires activation of your Access Code, which is completed with (1) active account or initial bona-fide enrollment. Procard International's Support Staff has helped thousands of Associates complete this step quickly and easily!

NO Investment, NO Kits, NO Hidden Costs, and NO Quotas! To Activate into our System only requires (1) Initial Bona-fide Enrollment, and to stay in Procard International's System only requires maintaining (1) Active Account! You are NOT required to enroll yourself.

. You might decide to take advantage of the services for yourself and use that account as your Initial Bonafide Enrollment. You can get the discounted Associate rate of $9.95/month, which is about 1/3 off the retail rate.

And finally a realy lame excuse

Q: Why do I need an Initial Bona-fide enrollment?
A: The Initial Bona-fide Enrollment became a company policy for one simple reason. Historically, Procard International used an entire Human Resource Department to screen, interview, and hire Associates. Procard International could only hire Associates where we had physical offices because of the interview process. By requiring an Initial Enrollment, Procard International can be confident that a candidate is serious about the opportunity without having to complete the interview process.

When this is all said and done and you don't need a law degree to figure it out you can work for Procard But it will cost you a min of $9.95 per month with an associate discount.
As far as signing someone else up that isn't free either. But I feel most people have enough brains to not sign up there Barber. As far as Procard being a scam I can't say but I did sign up filled out the application you sent the following email career@ procardinternational.com Congratulations! Logged on to your site sent via your e-mail filled out everything but billing info and it wouldnt let me go any farther.

A few steps to spoting an MLM Multi Level Marketing
1. do you have to pay money each month or hold a membership yourself
2. Do you make money off people you sign up.
3. do you make money off the people signed up by the ones you signed up.
4. Does it flat out sound to good to be true.

5. If it looks and acts like a duck its a duck

and Nicole Feel free to threaten me also with your legal Dept Im very familiar with Johnson County Kansas and there corupt justice System!

Unbelievably incorrect information provided on this complaint!

AUTHOR: Nicole Adams - (U.S.A.)

Hello,

My name is Nicole Adams and I am the executive office manager at Procard International, L.L.C.

Upon reading this "rip-off" report provided by Jen of Kent Washington - I certainly investigated 100% of the facts.

The facts are: This person enrolled on 8-4-02 and our office received her cancellation on 9-10-02. She was charged her monthly membership fee on 9-1-02 (as agreed to on a signed independent contractor statement - signed on 8-9-02) and her account was cancelled as she in fact states that we communicated with to her.

Although her statement that "It is now September 28th 2002, 2 days away from the day they will draft my account and I cannot do anything to stop it, just sit back, get scammed and watch them steal my money out of my account for a membership that I cancelled a moth ago." is wildly imaginative, inaccurate, designed to publicly state actions that she herself admits have not even happened yet and only she anticipates they will happen, legally slanderous and just simply did not happen since her account was indeed cancelled when her letter was received (as was in fact told directly to her) and was not cancelled "a month ago" - but it was indeed cancelled when received which is why she was not charged again.

To summarize, everything told to her - was in fact done as it was communicated to her...

I'm a bit lost as to why I am even reading this statement that she has been "screwed", "fooled" and "lied to" by "lying scammers" - because - by her own statments - no such thing has happened???

I am forwarding this publicly submitted statement to our legal department for review and potential action - so please "Jen", be aware you will be contacted regarding this.

And as for how we sleep -- very well since we are busy during the day providing thousands of associates around the world a legitimate opportunity to work from thier homes. Thank you for your concern!

Also - an equally interesting point she made about "having spent countless and countless hours working" -- You were "working" for less than a month...it looks like 3 weeks...

Lastly - Never is any associate of Procard International EVER required to be a member of the services themselves - that is stated everywhere and in big red letters right on the enrollment form itself.

I have only good things to say about Procard International!

AUTHOR: Albert - (U.S.A.)

It is unfortunate that some people may have experienced some problems with Procard International. One must understand that a company that huge will always have a small percentage of people who will be dissatisfied with its services.

I must say that I have been a member and associate of Procard for just under one year and my first dental visit using the program was reduced from $800.00 to JUST UNDER $300!! I was rather shocked since I had medical coverage through my former job throughout my initial months with Procard.

Another point worth mentioning is that, unlike most of the other internet companies that cost a fortune to join, it really does not hurt one's pocket to remain with the company for at least six months which is about the amount of time one should need to properly evaluate whether their business is working. This can be done for less than $100. SOME COMPANIES REQUIRE WELL IN EXCESS OF THAT AMOUNT JUST TO JOIN!!

Thirdly, anyone who is going to make it in this business needs to have a certain level of determination and skills. This is for any business. I have not made $35k but am very happy with my progress, considering the limited amount of time I spend marketing my business.
