Bill Loughheed IMHO is up to no good again.  I was contacted by one of his associates claiming to have lost money from an ATM.  She claimed her name was "TAMMY"  and called from 905-682-9040.  I have come to find out that she was lying.  Bill Lougheed sent someone to my ATM to get Serial number information later in the day.  He sent a Mr. Thibeau to the store and threatened to call the police unless he got access to my personal property.

I was forced to give him access as the store owner did not want the police to show up at his business.   As a result the store owner does not want anything to do with the ATM and I will be forced to remove it.

Mr. Lougheed ruined my business.  I will have to wait to see if he will now try and claim the location for himself.

I believe that he is trying to collect my Serial number information to try and claim the machine as his own.

I have reported this to the local police and to the online department of the RCMP.

The person who did the blackmail is Mr. Thibeault from Nova Scotia.  The numbers he provided were (902)476-3030 and 902-464-1026.  When I called the first number there was no answer.  When I called the second number the very nice lady at the other end indicated that she had no clue what I was talking about and that Mr. Thibeault was on a service call and that he should answer his cell phone (the first number).  I called the cell phone again and again no answer.  She also indicated that he had told her where he was and what he was doing but it turns out that her story was different from what actually happened that day.  I believe that she was telling the truth.  Earlier in the day Mr Thibeault claimed to work for Bill Lougheed and provided specific information that I have verified to be correct.  It would seem that they are working together.

I would assume that with a reputation as dubious as Mr Lougheed's, Profit Warriors and EEC Corporation that they would want to conduct business ethically.  Guess what he appears to be a thief by his actions like many others on the internet have claimed.

If anyone is not familiar with their game here it is.  They sell people ATM machines worth $3000 for $14K-$25K to individuals.  Do yourself a favour before giving these people any money search the internet and get the real prices of what they are selling.  They have taken a lot of money from a lot of people.  400-600 percent mark-up is dishonest enough can you imagine also being greedy enough to do what they are doing now to me!

I have no interest in making money from this but I can direct you to 3 or 4 companies that will sell you a machine for $3000 and help you get it set up.  I can forward you the info and will not give my name so you know that there are no kickbacks.

PLEASE do not get ripped off by these people.  They have been doing it for years and it is surprising that they are still able to dupe people to this day!

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Dean Baptista Rip off and Lost, Stolen &/or missing ATM at Treats & Treasures

AUTHOR: William (Billy) J. Lougheed - (Canada)

To the Editor of Rip Off Report, Dean Baptista (ATM competitor in Nova Scotia) and the proprietors of Treats and Treasures, aka "On the Sweet Side" (Store where an ATM was situated).

1. My name is William (Billy) Lougheed (The Rip off report-Mr. Baptista...has my name spelled wrong).

2. I am the owner/operator of Profit Warriors and we do sell and service ATMs across Canada.

3. Mr. Dean Baptista is an ATM competitor who owns and operates his own ATM business from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada who appears to be disgruntled as a result of our efforts to protect ours (and our investors rights) to an ATM
processing agreement we entered into with the above named store, such agreement provided Profit Warriors (and/or their assigns) with the exclusive rights to place and operate an ATM machine for a minimum of 7 years from May, 2011 until May, 2018.

4. Simply stated, we had (and still have) the right to place an ATM machine there and make money from the transaction fees resulting, pursuant that contract.

5. As a summary, the ATM works in a similar manner as any other vending machine, where we charge a fee for dispensing cash from that ATM as a convenience to the patrons coming through the store.

6. We provide merchants with several options from; Buying their own ATM, Renting it, or "FREE Placement", which allows the store owner to receive a FREE ATM machine where we, or an investor of ours, buys the ATM and shares in the profits for same, according to the agreement.

7. In this situation Profit Warriors bought, paid for and installed a brand new HY-1800 ATM machine into this store and it operated well for several months. Certain rights and responsibilities were later assigned to a third party investor and cash filler who assisted with sales, service and filling the cash.

8. As I understand the "Treats and Treasures" business changed hands and new operators took over and moved physical locations. Also, there was a period of time during that change over where we could not get a hold of anyone
at the store and the ATM was not doing transactions as far as we could tell. To make matters worse the investor assigned to that ATM machine (and this opportunity) was not responding either; however, I (and my team) had a
responsibility to continue to investigate all the same to at a bare minimum "bring some closure to the file".

9. I asked a member of our local Halifax Team (Tom Thibault) to help (and investigate) by stopping by the location, which he did. Tom reported back that the ATM was operational, however, CONTRARY TO THE CONTRACT, it was being
processed by another company (someone else had commandeered the ATM). Further to this our stickers, logos & Toll free contact numbers previously attached to the ATM were removed and NO CONTACT DETAILS were on the ATM (i.e. it was running anonymously" or, otherwise "clandestinely".

10. I instructed Tom to co-ordinate the change back of the ATM to our network so it would comply with regulations (and our agreement) and I further asked him to collect the serial number off the ATM to confirm its' identity (the ATM
serial number is located in the top part of the ATM machine).

11. After speaking with Mr. Baptista today, we have both amicably come to the conclusion that; a) Treats and Treasures (previous Sole Proprietors) are no longer operating, or if so, the agreement referred to herein should be enforced against THEM, if at all,

b) Mr. Baptista installed his own new ATM and he will be placing his stickers ON HIS MACHINE to assist with on-lookers, should they have questions, concerns, or LEADS for Mr. Baptista...(Therefore...His business is NOT "ruined" as he alleges in his report).

c) The ATM whereabouts (and business transactions resulting from the ATM machine "lost, missing and/or stolen") .... is still being investigated, however I am confident in saying it appears Mr. Baptista had NOTHING to do with its' disappearance and he has further co-operated, helped and assisted my team greatly in providing information as to its possible whereabouts.

12. As far as selling ATMs for a "dishonest mark up", as alleged by Mr. Baptista?...This statement is WHOLLY INCORRECT AND LIBELOUS. Profit Warriors gives ATMs away for FREE to qualified merchants and then resells the "turn key ATM opportunity" as an ATM Enterprise (Business Opportunity), which includes the ATM, the Location Rights, Web Access, Interac Sponsorship, Transaction Fees, etc, etc and YES, we charge a minimum of $9,500.00 for a "Turn Key ATM Business Opportunity".

13. Should a merchant wish to purchase their own ATM and do "the work", we all save time and money and in those instances we have wholesale pricing for ATMs starting from: $1,500.00 on "refurbished ATMs", $5,900.00 on "Standard models" and up to $22,500.00 on "touch screen... multi-featured kiosks" that can do all but make you a coffee. :)

14. To qualify (and DEFEND) our pricing structure...and our minimum $9,500.00, simply ask any of Mr. Baptista's ATM service providers if any of them do "FREE PLACEMENTS" and, if they do, if their agreements are violated and/or terminated, what do they charge for the losses resulting (i.e. "What is the VALUE of one ATM Enterprise Contract"). I believe you will find, unanimously, any legitimate company with an agreement to a location (which is important to investors) will sue for the losses (and damages) for the length of the term of the contract...

15. THIS contract (Treats and Treasures) paid $2.00 per transaction for 7 years. While operational the ATM did in excess of 200 transactions per month...

THEREFORE: The "VALUE" of THIS opportunity would be $33,600.00. This evaluation does NOT include additional revenues someone might be able to make with additional services...

16. Final Note: William J. Lougheed & Profit Warriors Inc-REPUTATION REPAIR- While I sometimes enjoy the "bad guy" Reputation, it is equally important to let everyone know I do CARE. Many mistake my passion for "telling it like it is" as being a "Liar", mostly because people don't like what I have to say. I am an "Operations Officer"...a.k.a. "Designated Asshole" with a fiduciary duty to hunt for truth and forward my findings to people who trust me and are on MY
TEAM. I own a firm who legally, aggressively and persistently FIGHTS for Profit...no... WARS for Profit for my clients and ALL stakeholders whom I have the honor to serve. I don't anticipate this changing any time soon.

16a). As far as being called a "Thief"...and taking business away from my competitors?....I cannot disagree with the inference and implication. I (and my team) regularly, fairly and legally take business away from some of our competitors. We also strike amazing unbreakable bonds of trust with others...we call them "Friendly competitors". Mr. Baptista's posting is NOT fair and it is NOT Friendly; however, I HOPE, since my conversation today with Mr. Baptista that he will remedy this for the future.

Should you ever want someone to FIGHT FOR YOU in a similar way, give me a call-email and I'll FIGHT FOR PROFIT for you also.

W.J.Lougheed, in person (905) 984-9344
