I was a customer of Progressive Insurance for my van since 10-20-09. I just switched to AAA today 01-25-11 because I received an offer in the mail for a free quote and was quoted less than of what Progressive charged me. My rate was up to $92.50 due to an accident I had.They upped my points by 3 due to this. AAA just informed me that this was a NO FAULT ACCIDENT when Progressive plainly said that it was my fault. I am now paying $40.40mo at AAA.
Progressive also has charged me a $50 cancellation fee for cancelling, saying it was on my contract. I dont remember this at all and I am a single mother struggling to make ends meet here, in a divorce and fighting breast cancer and WINNING mind you.Things are not easy here and $50 and overpaid bills are a big deal in my house. I hope somebody does something about this because I am outraged and plan on slandering Progressives name all over facebook [I have over 1000 friends] and the internet.They are crooks! I would like my overpayments back and my $50 too, but I know I probably wont get it because conglomerates need to fund the CEOs 10 extra houses and 3 wives. Who cares about a single mom raising a child, struggling with divorce and cancer these days I hope someone is listening *
