ProjectorLampCenter.com is a rip off company, Do Not Buy From Them here is why.

I was in need of a projector bulb so i contacted ProjectorLampCenter.com by phone and Grant Rinehart told me that they had 9 bulbs in stock and the order will ship out tomorrow morning before noon time. He said i will receive an email when it ships. The next day comes and goes and no email from them, i call and they give me a run around saying that they thought they had XR-30x bulbs but they were actually XR-20x bulbs and they would ship it out within 2 days when shipment is received.

Three days later no email from them stating shipment (checked spam folders also, no email), i call and customer support (which sounds like the same person each time) tells me that they are checking with the drop ship company on the status of the order. Keep in mind this product when i ordered it was "In Stock", so i question the rep about why they stated they had it in stock and now it is drop shipped, he told me "We work with these people on pretty much a daily basis, so we consider they're stock our own stock". This is fine and exceptable, except for the fact that i payed alot of money for the 2nd days shipping, and was never once offered a refund for.

A week goes by and no bulb, i contact them again. The rep tells me that the bulb has not be shipped yet (DUH!!!!!, IDIOT) and i will be another 2 weeks until it is shipped. At this point i asked for a refund, this is where it gets fun.

They tell me that in order to get my refund that i have to wait over 30 days up to 90 days to receive my refund check. I paid by credit card, why can't they just refund my card (usually take 2-3 business days), for accounting purposes they tell me. I dont understand how that makes accounting easier, but whatever. I know that money in they're bank account earns interest and if they have mine they are making money off it, that for sure.

This is when i check them out on RipOffReport.com, and not much to my surprise there is over 30 reports. I now contact them back and demand my money gets put back on my credit card or i will do a charge back through my bank.This is where it gets better.

The rep (who always sounds like the same person) instantly got angry and told me that they were filing Bankruptcy and "good luck getting my money back".

I have done a charge back through my credit card company and they (credit card company) have issued a temp refund, while they investigate. The credit card company also told me that there were many other complaints about the company and that they were going to be loosing they're credit card merchant account very soon.

If you place an order through this company, do your self a favor and contact your credit card company to do a charge back right away. Don't even waste your time getting lied to by Grant Rinehart or anyone else at ProjectorLampCenter.com. The only way you will get a refund is by charging it back, by the looks of it they never refund your money.

They only thing that is true about this, is the fact that they apologized. What good is an apology with out a refund. This company is a true scam. They are lying in this rebuttal by saying it's been months since the purchase and no charge back. I have filed a charge back, i can guarantee it.

They are upset because i used someones name in the report. Well, if you had ran a responsible company this employee would be getting praise not grief.

All in All projector lamp center may at one time have been a good company, but they are no longer. They take your money and never ship. When you try to get a refund it never happens.

We needed this lamp for a very important job presentation and never received the bulb. We lost our money on the lamp and lost our chance at the future job.

We ended up going through a great company (Focused Technology) who took out order at 10am and we had the bulb in hand by 4pm the very next day, with no problems at all. Save your self time and money, avoid ProjectorLampCenter.com THEY SUCK!!!!!! Hope to see them off the web soon.

**If you notice ProjectorLampCenter is finally getting worried about stealing everyone's money and they are going around and rebuttaling all they're complaints, it's kind of funny actually.**

Rip-Off Report is a respectable website offering a helpful utility for consumers to report a truthful complaint about a company that they want to make known to the public. Unfortunately, Rip-Off Report loses credibility when consumers make fraudulent claims and post dishonest comments like Mr. Brian McGee of Haverhill, Massachusetts with Astonish SEO. He is making defamatory and false claims regarding our company. He is also showing how deceiving and abhorrent he is by posting a personal name in his complaint. This employee has a family to support. Mr. Brian McGee of Astonish SEO is falsely accusing this representative of wrong doing and potentially ruining his reputation as a professional. He did not take in to account that he could be ruining a person's future by making such heinous accusations about this person. We find this to be quite distasteful and unacceptable, and hope the general public reviewing his complaint does as well.



Furthermore, we tried very hard and diligently to work with Brian McGee on his order placed with our company. Dealing with unprofessional customers can be quite an up hill battle and, in many cases, they are impossible to please.

We sincerely apologized to the customer for any inconvenience with his order. He chose to and wanted to wait for the product to come in stock and then have it shipped. After a week had passed, and the product had yet to come in stock, the customer demanded to cancel his order which was done immediately as requested. Following the customer's cancellation he informed our company that he will be filing a chargeback. When a customer states that they will be filing a chargeback we have no choice but to await the arrival of the chargeback on their order and allow a refund via the chargeback process. This is why the customer was not refunded by our company. We can not allow the chance of him being refunded via the chargeback process and then also refund him ourselves. We can not take the chance of refunding him twice for his cancelled order.



A few months pass and we have yet to receive a chargeback from this customer. He then calls at the beginning of this month and demands his refund immediately. We informed him that because he stated he would be filing a chargeback we can not refund him and have been waiting on his chargeback to arrive.



To conclude, we are still waiting on the customer's chargeback that he states he has opened. We will be happy to authorize the chargeback to be processed with his bank and card company upon its arrival.
