I just want to make this clear i work for verizon wireless and im leaving the company for a way better oppurtunity as an electrician, i sold protect cell to a client and they assured them they would never cancel their policy due to excessive legitimate request, but after second claim they did so claiming they abused the policy and did not refund the individual for the second year being as they prepaid their insurance for two years and onl got less then a year out of it! DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE THEY DO NOT ABIDE BY THEIR POLICIES....I WENT THROUGH THE TRAINING AND THEY SWEAR UP AND DOWN BY IT, BUT WHEN PUSH COMES TO SHOVE, THEY FALL FLAT ON THEIR HIND-END! go with best buy if you want insurance.

My name is Josh Erickson and i'd like to personally say screw you to protectcell for lying to my personal friend. I have documentation that you said you'd insure the phone and then you lied about it.

I read in a previous post that ProtectCell received a JD Powers & Assoc. award for customer service call center?!? Who the he!! is the Coportate Call Center? It's a Monday, I have made 5 calls each averaging 20+ minutes to hear the same recording over and over. Very upset right now...we will talk about the $100 - $300 hold on my bank account that is not covered in your insurance (membership) paperwork. "You might be charged an additional $100-$300...." Not we will hold $$$$$ until you return.

ProtectCell would love to make things clear for you.  You are correct in what you stated above ProtectCell will not cancel a plan due to excessive legitimate requests.  Because we have this policy in place, we investigate any situations that may raise red flags, especially if we think that someone might be trying to profit from receiving ProtectCell devices.  In regards to the situation with you and your personal friend, there were many red flags which caused ProtectCell to investigate potential abuse with your friends plan.  These included several requests filed within the first few weeks of having the plan and these being cancelled because your personal friend was unable to submit required receipts to ProtectCell.  In addition, numerous requests were recently filed within a short period of time where the phone type, email address, shipping addresses and phone numbers were all changed, and when ProtectCell asked to speak with your personal friend to ask why this information was changing your personal friend was never available to speak with us or return our call.  We are aware of some of our members trying to take advantage of ProtectCell due to the fact that we are committed to providing the best customer experience possible.  This is why we found it highly questionable that a former employee of one of our dealers would be scheduling and/or accepting shipments of ProtectCell devices to their personal residence address on behalf of a person who you acknowledge happens to be your personal friend.  Your personal friend had provided a different address and other information at the time they purchased the ProtectCell membership.  Since this situation involved that member and not you we would advise the member that the documentation received when ProtectCell was purchased clearly states that ProtectCell will not continue business with intentional, dishonest, fraudulent or criminal acts by Member. 

If your personal friend still feels that they have been wronged in some way, we would love to speak with them.  If you feel that you can help us figure out why your address was given as the ship to address, wed love to talk to you again as well.  Feel free to have your friend that was the ProtectCell member call the ProtectCell corporate office escalation center at 877-368-6365.  You can call us too!
