Providian National Bank, Emerge Mastercard ripped off and scammed Tilton New Hampshire

My husband and I had to file Chapter7 bankruptcy due to divorce, so in order to build our credit back we decided to take up getsmart visa's offer. A low 14% interest with a 1,000.00 credit limit. Then, because we were "such good customers" they increased our limit another 250.00.
About a month later, we were switched to emerge mastercard due to "business reorginazation" increasing our percentage to almost 30%. As we continued to pay our bill on time every month I noticed I was being socked with late charges. When I called to complain, their explanation was that it was being received 1 day late each month. Which was absolutely impossible, considering I sent the payment out 2 weeks early each month.
So, as "favor" to me they took off the last months late fee. Which was not that great, because I had been charged for so long without paying attention that it had taken me to my limit. So, now I am stuck paying on this credit card that is going to take forever to pay off with these interest rates, and to make it all the better, about 200.00 of the credit is late fees and finance charges that they scammed me out of.
Next, years taxes unfortunately will not be spent for our vacation, but to pay off this con artist based company.
