Providian/washington Mutual How can this company get away with this!! Westerville Ohio

This is concerning two accounts that I had with this company, one mainly. I took these credit cards out, after filing bankruptcy. (2000) . I noticed interest rates were getting sky-high,but, did the best I could. In 2004, my husband lost his job.I wasn't able to pay for these high min. payments. Called this company, explained I had five other accts. and could pay so much, they would not work with me. So, I defaulted. In the mean time eventually, the company claimed they wrote it off, but, continued to sell mainly one acct over and over.1-2 years ago they filed judgement. Checked my credit report, claimed the acct. was still active(no reports there was judgement) last week I checked my report again, now it shows I made a payment in the amount of 87.00. Which I never did.

I believe they are doing everything possible to keep this account open, and believe it's only a matter of time till, they start on the next account. I don't dispute I defaulted on my accounts, but, they were not willing to work with what I had. This company is a piece of work. People really need to start reporting this company. Also, my balances are twice, as high than orginally. One account I closed myself, before I defaulted, which they would not show. There really are too many things to list with this company, I'm really just fed up with them, and don't know what to do!!!
