 Public Partnerships LLC should have never gotten the contract for the State of PA. They are the most inept payors I have ever had the exhausting pleasure to deal with.  Today marks the second time this year since they took over in January that I have had to seek help from my PA State Representatives office regarding monies owed to me for work.  I made two phone calls 1 1/2 months ago, regarding paperwok that needed to be submitted. On both occasions I was told there was no paperwork pending and that I was "good to pay". I got a red "nasty" gram in the mail last Wednesday stating that my last paycheck would be my last paycheck because of paperwork that I did not submit! Imagine that, I needed to submit some paperwork. I called and called and called. After an exhausting 2 hours that it took for someone to answer the phone, I was still told that I did not have any paperwork pending. I had to ask to speak to a manager. She informed me that I needed to fill out xyz ect. She was going to mail the paperwork to me.. Tuesday comes around still NO paperwork in the mail. Called them back, found out best time to call is the first half an hour after they open, after that you need a cot and pillow for the nap you'll be taking while on hold. I was told then that I could down load and print the paperwork from my computer. What a relief..it would have been nice had they told me on Wednesday when I talked to a special agent. Where is Secret Squirrel when you need him! Needless to say I called my State Reps office and he is helping me with this problem. I will probably not get a paycheck this week though.

Taking care of someone that is disabled is in itself  a challeging job but to not get paid properly on top of it, is just insulting. The American phone reps that answer their phones are starting to make the foreign phone reps everwhere else seem more knowledgeable.. Very sad considering you can't understand half of them. I will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau, although I doubt I will get anywhere.  The next time the State of PA wants to save money because their budget is out of control, I think all the Goverment employees should be paid by Public Partnerships. When they do not recieve a paycheck, that place would hear loud and clear about their total ineptness. Also the phone reps that gave me wrong information should have their paycheck withheld for not doing thier job properly.  JEVS was my former payor. I had NO problems EVER with them. They were always courtious and prompt.  Public Partnerships bit off WAY too much more than they can chew.

There is absolutely no accountability with this company. They either give you wrong information or pass the buck to another who gives you wrong information. They then make excuses for the  wrong information they gave you and some how try to make the situation your own fault.  I am not an uneducated person, though they try to treat you like your an idiot. The last person I spoke with made it seem like she was doing me a favor by telling me the correct information. She kept repeating "aren't you glad you got me on the phone". I should have been told the correct information when I called the first time.. This company is a pathetic example of a State contracted company.. There are alot of people that live paycheck to paycheck and I happen to be one of those. I work for my rent, utilites, food ect. I get no handouts from the state.   WAKE UP PA, there are alot of us Direct Care Workers that are being shafted by this company.  Change providers please. I wonder how long PPL has a contract with PA. It has already been 8 months too long for my tatste.

Public partnerships...same problem

 Having the same problem with Public partnerships since June 10th has been back and forth with them they told me they would send the form but didnt so made a copy and sent it again so that is twice. Called them and asked if they recieved the form the answer was no not in the system and will not get my check.. everything is pending with them. When I started with PPL in January I filled out the packet nothing was said would get my paychecks on time thought the company was doing a great job. I was with another company for 6 years and they were fantastic never a problem they switched over to homecare could have stayed but the wages were to low.

My daughter is in a wheelchair and I take care of her 24-7 had problems getting her a new wheelchair from her rehab center they said oh we can fix her old one..no she needs a new one every 5 years she is entitled from medicare.

called Senator Lisa Boscola about the situation and believe or not the next day the rehab center called .So may be wise to call her about ppl. Called ppl on tuesday about my check told me to... check on monday if it is not there going to call Senator Boscola something needs to be done!!
