Cigarettes from Azerbaijan???

POSTED: Tuesday, June 08, 2010BAKU AZ is the credit card location code for the city of Baku in Azerbaijan (a former Soviet Republic). Like Nigeria, that region is known for its Internet and credit card scams.
I don't know much about buying cigarettes online, but I would venture to guess that it's not common to order them from Eurasia. The tax implications alone would seem to make it a non-starter.
Many people have had success by simply contacting their credit card company and disputing the charge. The scammers rarely contest it and the consumer usually gets their money back.
