I now join the list of those defrauded by these swindlers. Same story as the rest of you; send for the trial, get dinged for close to a hundred bucks for a product that does not even work.

I fell into their clutches due to the fact that since EARTHLINK was promoting their product, it had to a genuine product, and purveyed by an honest company.

Thieves are thieves, and when we get scammed by them, it is partially our fault for being trusting. However, to be scammed with the aid and collusion of supposedly honest internet provider like Earthlink is just about all I can take.

And I am NOT going to take it laying down.

I don't know if this will work, but a buddy of mines dad is retired FBI. Nowadays he does corporate security work. I am going to contact him and see what, if anything can be done about Pure Nutrients and their front company, Earthlink.

I am also going to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

Update / Refund

AUTHOR: Disgusted that earthlink promotes this company - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 14, 2009

I called Pure Nutrients and asked to speak to the ranking supervisor present. I explained the situation about being unaware - and un-approving - of their somewhat stealthy manner of conducting business, as well as letting them know that the product did not work with me.

Much to my surprise, the person in customer service politely listened to me, made inquiries as to my diet, how long I had taken the product and how much of it I consumed. When I told him that 80% of my diet was fruits and vegetables, he flat out stated "you don't need this product, it is only useful to people that have poor diets. If you eat as you say, there really is not much or anything in your system you need to remove.

He then cancelled my order, and said he would refund the $93 dollars. He then sent me two e-mails stating that the refund was put into the system and I would receive the credit in 5 to 7 days. He seemed to be sincere in his remarks. I will know the end results in a week or so, and will update again.

I can't speak for the experiences the other people on this site reported; I am sure that there was at least some difficulty in trying to obtain satisfaction. I did not encounter any. I did comport myself in the manner of an adult, was quiet and polite, but still matter of fact. That may be the tactic to employ. Remember the old adage You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar. Screaming, cursing and being rude never helps (not saying any of you were, either, but the law of averages suggests that one or two came accross as being slightly irritated)

The same thing happened to me a few days ago. the company name was Pyur Water Nano Nutrients. signed up for the free trial, canceled, but was charged $60. anyway, called, emailed them, nothing worked. I suggest canceling your credit card before they take you for another charge.
