On or around November 26, 2012, I contracted with Josh, a customer representative at QRS (Quality Relocation Services) to move my household goods from Orting, WA to Belton, TX on December 9 with an estimated delivery date between December 14- December 28. I maintained regular contact with Josh regarding the delivery date.
Upon pick up, two young men arrived, one of whom was quite ill, consequently infecting our family members with a virus that lasted throughout December. They looked at the items which I had described in detail to Josh twice and increased the amount of the move to almost double the price of $2003 to QRS, $440. to the driver and $120 in tips. $701. is due upon delivery and did not even take all of the items listed.
As the delivery date approached the company became more difficult to contact. They did not return calls. josh stated he was only a sales representative and that my goods were now in the care of and under the responsibility of the dispatch transport team. I was given the phone number 888 860-5778 which is answered sometimes Allegiance Van Lines, sometimes dispatch but when Googled I found was just another number attached to QRS. I was also given the cell number of a dispatcher named "Carlos" (303) 995- 2133 and another office number 1(720)221-7977, which is also another QRS alias line. I first spoke with Carlos on 12/21/12 regarding a delivery date when he stated my belongings would be delivered in Belton,Texas on approximately 12/27 or 12/28 and that they were currently in Colorado.
As that date approached it became more difficult to reach Carlos or Josh. When I did reach Josh he stated that he was only the Sales Representative and no longer responsible for my account!
Carlos stated that the company was entitled to more time because of the holiday, the company was entitled to 21 business days. I reminded them that I'd be arriving to live in Texas on 1/2/13 and that I had arranged for delivery and expected my household goods to be in my home as promised.
Today is January 21, 2013. I still have not received my belongings. Carlos has broken several commitments to deliver. I have incurred additional expenses including hotels, phone, gas and rent on a home I can not occupy without my things. On Thursday 1/17/13 I spoke with a man named Sean who stated he was the General Manager of the company. He assured me he would resolve my issue and call by the end of business on that day. He did not call. I called twice on Friday and was told he was out of the office. I called and texted Carlos, my messages were not returned. I still do not have my belongings, restitution or reimbursement.
