Quantex Microsystems, Inc. Had systems problem relating to internet use, Prodigy advised calling manufacturer to resolve problem, still under warranty, find Quantex no longer exists!! Somerset New Jersey

Approximatel 3-4 months ago had unusual problems with Internet connection and stability. After numerous attempts to rectify with help from Prodigy Support it as advised that I contact the manufacturer of my PC for additional help because they felt there may be a problem with my system.

y computer is still under warranty with Quantex and felt there would be no problem. Numerous tries to communicate via phone netted only a strange message relating to some other business (1-800 number). Recontacted Prodigy who did a search on their own and could not find any listing for Quantex. Between Prodigy, my tech brother and my own knowledge and experimentation, finally resolved problem but I was unable to use the Internet for 2 weeks and my job requires some at home Internet work.

I was shocked, wondered if I was now going to have to purchase a new PC and all related software; the time and money involved...and what about any future problems?? Why wasn't I notified?? What happened??
