I purchased some LED Grow Lights from QuantumLEDBloom.co.uk, who maintained during our phone conversations that he was selling me genuine Hydro Grow lights.  I learned about Hydro Grow lights through a friend who had amazing results with them, and I couldn't pass up the price I was offered by Quantum LED when I called. 

I called my friend after I received the lights who came over to my house to check out my new setup.  Immediately he pointed out to me that the lights were missing the Hydro Grow logos shown on the product photos on the Quantum LED site, which was a dead giveaway that I had purchased counterfeit lights.  We then opened the light up and noticed that none of the heatsinks contained quality copper cores, as are used in my friend's Hydro Grow light which he purchased directly from the manufacturer.  He also told me the fans in my units were far noisier than his, and when we tested the light on his Apogee quantum light meter it was producing 1/2 the output of his light at only 24" away!

I immediately contacted Hydro Grow who verified I had been Scammed by Quantum LED.  After learning this I contacted Quantum LED who maintained Hydro Grow was lying to me and he had indeed sold me a genuine Hydro Grow light.  I have since contacted the UK Trading Institute as Hydro Grow advised me to do, and filed a chargeback with my credit card provider.  I can't believe sellers like Quantum LED are getting away with flat-out robbery here in the UK.  They lie to consumers like me and lure me in with a lower price, only to scam me with a counterfeit and worthless product.  I'm pissed I didn't just spend the extra money and buy direct from Hydro Grow.
