Questia offers a FREE Trial subscription so you can try their service. Subscription cost are paid on a monthly basis. When you sign up for the free trial they take credit card information and you are informed that you will have to cancel or you will be charged for an ongoing subscription. When I called to inquire why I was charged immediately, I was notified that the TRIAL PERIOD is only 24 Hours. The rude customer service representative claims this is stated in the terms and conditions and that I overlooked it. Upon reviewing the T&C again, the duration of the free trial is not specified. They are outright thieves. They lead customers to believe there is a 30 day trial and since it is non refundable by the time this is cancelled, you are already scammed.

Furthermore, they database had very limited information so it was useless anyway.

Questia is a SCAM!

AUTHOR: AE - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, February 14, 2011
HI there. I am some others are looking to file a class action complaint against their affiliated company and they are ripping people off the same way! As you can see, I am a victim of their scam hope we can get recovery for everyone who was ripped off by both companies. We cannot use these complaint sites as evidence against them so I need to hear directly from anyone who was scammed. If you would be willing to share your story to help the cause, we would all greatly appreciate it! There is great strength in numbers which is exactly what we need to take these sleazy companies down and stop their predatory practices. Please contact me. Thank you. thank you.
