I was recruited by direct mail to become a locator for this "alleged" liquidation company. I was sent a binder with explicit instructions on how to price this merchandise and then submit it to an office in New York where it would then be presented to various prospective buyers for the merchandise. It was recently learned that none of these offers to sell were never accepted by Mr. Zaken. In addition, I paid $500 for a "confidential" directory of prospective sellers of this type of merchandise to call. This "confidential" list consisted of people either in the service business, or otherwise were not remotely connected to consumer merchandise.
