I am a former TEAM LEADER at Quicken Loans and am appalled at what this company does and stands for. I've read all the previous postings from former employee's and I can verify my own version(s) of every story posted as being true!
The question is why hasn't the State of Michigan done anything about this disreputable company?!?!?
Answer: Because Quicken, Dan Gilbert, David Katzman, et al, are all being courted by everyone in State and local legislature to keep Quicken in Michigan (and Detroit)! The fact that the Attorney General for the State of Michigan is nowhere on this disgusting!
Through political contributions, Quicken is essentially paying-off the people that are supposed to protect us!
The fact that the guys who run this company are Jewish, make me embarrassed to be a Jew!!! A true Jew would never treat people the way the upper management treats employee's and clients.
Things will change when Quicken begins to be less of a player in the employment market in an already depressed state (Michigan). This is already starting to be the case as their banker force has been cut in half in the slumping housing market.
Sure, call everyone one of the previous posters "disgruntled former employee's" including me. Yes I was fired from that place, and yes they tried to prevent me from collecting unemployment, and everytime I won the appeal(s), they would appeal again, thereby preventing me from collecting unemployment until the very end - which almost put me on the street. I went from being a high paid exec, to being a toss-away employee, to whom they didn't even want to pay unemployment benefits... but finally I won, in front of a judge. All of the former employees are indeed disgruntled, but that doesn't make them wrong!
Quicken hires an outside firm to reject all of it's unemployment claims right off the bat - without regard to merit. The name of the company is Packer & Associates in Novi, Michigan. They figure it's just cheaper to try and reject all unemployment benefit claims than to pay them... Not a bad way to do things if you are Quicken.
But the sickening point to all of their supposed culture is that Quicken Loans is an example of what society has degraded into... it is a soulless company that proffers to be the exact opposite. They do indeed RIP-OFF their customers, and their employee's.
I call for the Michigan Attorney General to investigate this company thoroughly!

This company needs to be investigated! Unfortunately, its tough to get a response from the Attorney General. Here is what I recommend:
Send a copy of your letter via certified mail. Keep the receipt and tracking code. This will hold the Attorney General responsible because you will have proof that he received your letter. Then, if the attorney general chooses not to act, he can face the consequences of his negligence.
