I had to dispute the with the clerk on checkout and he even had me speak with the Middle Eastern Owner who kept saying "I don't understand," over and over again. Basically I got ripped off the $1.50 plus tax.
The Quiznos menu is a gimmick and if you aren't really specific you'll get overcharged and the clerks aren't looking out for your best interest. They are there to screw you over and then ask for a tip.
The tip jar in Quiznos is a ripoff by itself. All there doing is the job they signed up to do. Since when do you tip fast food workers?

The 2 halves require more work, and its more an incentive to get people to buy 1 whole than to get 1 half.
Businesses have likely followed this practice for centuries. Buy a little, pay more per unit. Buy a lot, pay less per unit.
What a frigging jerk.
But to make him happy, Quiznos may be pretty much done as a going concern. They are not in good shape according to the most recent news I read on them.
I'm willing to bet you're purchasing for two people, two completely different sandwiches. Which makes them NOT the same, right?
