I responded to a craigslist ad near the end of October. The subject line stated:  LICENSED LIFE AGENTS! ALL INSIDE SALES - EXTREMELY FAST PAY!! 
I was contacted by Mark Flores who identified himself as the company President.
He said that they would supply all leads and train me to sell Insurance from home.
In order to weed out tire kickers he was asking for a $450 refundable deposit upon making the first 5 sales. He sent me the contracting documents for Mutual of Omaha.
While I was waiting for the contracting to be complete he began training a number of us via webinar.
Everything seemed on the up and up.
Then started the delays and excuses about the finalization of my contracting and appointment with Mutual of Omaha. The last contact I had with him was around December 10th when he told me the paperwork should be completed in a couple of days. Since then their website has gone down and no one answers the phone. I called Mutual of Omaha and they had no record of me being in their system to be contracted. I have come across a couple of other people on facebook who have had the same experience. I'm sure there are many more.
