I WENT INTO RADIO SHACK 9/16/2006 IN NORTH RIVERSIDE MALL WITH THE INTENTIONS OF PURCHASING A PAY AS YOU GO PHONE FOR MY SON. BUT WHILE SEARCHING FOR ONE WE WERE APPROACHED BY A SALES REP.WHO ALSO TURNED OUT TO BE THE MANAGER. SHE SAID" GETTING A PHONE WITH A CONTRACT WOULD ACTURALLY BE CHEAPER" SO TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT THREE PHONES AND A TWO YEAR CONTRACT LATER WE ENTERED INTO A CONTRACT. SHE PROMISED ALL THE GOODIES AND THE DISCOUNTS, AND THE WAIVED ACTIVATION FEES, ETC.

ANY WAY WE LEFT AND WITHIN ONE WEEK MY HUSBAND WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH HIS PHONE.SO WE WERE GOING TO RETURN TO THE STORE THE FOLLOWING WEEK ANYWAY DUE TO THE FACT THAT MY HUSBAND WANTED TO KEEP HIS OLD PHONE NUMBER FROM THE PHONE SERVICE HE WAS USING AT THIS TIME.
SHE HAD US IN THE STORE FOR A VERY LENGTHY TIME AND THEN COULDN'T SOME HOW MAKE THIS CHANGE DURING THE ACTIVATION OF THE PHONES. WE WERE TOLD TO RETURN TO HAVE THIS DONE.

ANYWAY LIKE I STATED WE WERE RETURNIG THE NEXT WEEK TO HAVE THE NUMBERS CHANGED , SO WE RECEIVE A BILL 5 DAYS LATER FROM THE 9-16-2006 DATE AND THE BILL IS OVER $200.00 .NOW WE ARE GOING IN TO DISCUSS THE BILL BECAUSE WE WERE TOLD ONE THING AND GOT SOMETHING ELSE.

THE MANAGER SAID SOME HOW THE ACTIVATION FEES DIDN'T GO THROUGH OR SOME OTHER EXCUSE BUT SHE WOULD GIVE US THIS AND SHE WOULD GIVE US THAT. MAKING IT SOUND LIKE THEY WERE GIVING US SOMETHING WHEN ACTURALLY IT WAS TO BE GIVEN IN THE INITAL DEAL ANY WAY , AT THIS TIME THE MANAGER WAS WILLING TO ACCOMODATE US WITH SERVICE FOR FREE PHONE ACCESSORIES ETC. PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING TO MAKE US "HAPPY".

BUT WHEN SHE FOUND OUT THAT WE WEREN'T HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND THAT WE WERE GOING TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT. SHE AT THIS TIME TOOK ALL THREE PHONES INTO HER POSSESSION BEHIND THE COUNTER.WE WERE THEN TOLD THAT SHE COULDN'T TAKE ONE OF THE PHONES BACK BECAUSE IT WAS A PIN-HEAD SCRATCH ON THE FACE PLATE , I WAS LIKE WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT AND I ASKED HER TO SHOW ME THE SCRATCHES. SHE POINTED TO SOME VERY LITTLE SCRATCH ONE OF WHICH COULD OF BEEN ON THE PHONE WHEN IT WAS SOLD TO US ONE WEEK PRIOR . I ADMIT I WOULDNT KNOW. SIMPLY BECAUSE WHO ACTURALLY EXAMINED A PHONE IN DETAIL LOOKING FOR SCRATCHES?

IN ANY EVENT SHE WOULDN'T ACCEPT THIS PHONE BACK AND NOW I'M STUCK WITH A PHONE THAT I HAVE NO USE FOR BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE SERVICE WITH A SPRINT COMPANY. THIS IS SIMPLY RIDICULOUS AND I NEED SOME HELP IN RETURNING THIS PHONE AND GETTING MY MONEY FOR IT!!!
