RAINFORESTBERRY - CLEANSE GOLD Rainforestberry, FWM laboratories (distributor) unauthorized charges on debit card causing overdraft Hollywood, Florida

I ordered a sample of Acai berry from Cleanse Gold/Rainforestberry which was offered for $1.95 + shipping. However, before I received anything from this company, I was billed for two payments of $87.13. One charge of $87.13 was made on 7/22/09 and another charge of $87.13 was made on 8/05/09, although I had not received anything, not even the sample.

I called the company to cancel and was told that I had to pay for the shipment, (although at that point they had no record of the product being shipped), because I had not returned or cancelled my shipment within 15 days. When I questioned how I could return a shipment when I had not yet received anything, I was told that if an order was not cancelled within the 15 days it went into autoship.

I cancelled my account with Cleanse Gold/Rainforestberry that day.

The very next day I received two packages: the promised sample and an unsolicited shipment of the product.. I immediately called the company again and was told I would receive a refund on the second shipment if I sent it back, but was refused a refund for the first (unauthorized) charge.

I did return the second package and have the tracking number showing it was received at the company. However, no refund was offered for the unauthorized charge on my debit card, nor have I received the promised refund on the returned package.

To date, I have overdrawn bank charges, have been cheated out of $174.26 for two shipments, and have not received any refund. I have documentation including bank statements, transcripts of the conversation between the customer service representatives and me.
