RAM Theatre Services Mr. Shaun Boylan No Refund Received When Repeatedly Promised To Do So , Internet

My wife signed on with RAM Theater Services in the Spring of 2012 as a graphic designer/sales rep for the RAM coupon and movie publication for our area of residence. Within a short time she realized this wasn't for her and resigned from the company after a few weeks. Before resigning, Mr. Shaun Boylan of RAM Theater Services asked my wife for $1,994 to buy paper for the printing of the publication that she was selling coupon advertising for. On April 25, 2012 she sent him a check for this amount. It was a few weeks after this that she realized this was not a business for her. She let Mr. Boylan know she was resigning and requested a refund for the $1,994 she sent him for the paper for the printing of the RAM publication for our area. Thing is, the publication was never printed. Mr. Boyland promised to my wife via email in May and June of 2012 that he would refund her the money citing when the company has completed a press event. On my wife's behalf I have contacted Mr. Boylan several times since then by email and by phone message asking him to make good on his promise. On August 20 I called Mr. Boylan and spoke with him repeating my request. He again cited the completion of a press event the following week and said he would send a check afterwards. We have not yet received a refund from Mr. Boylan. It has been 3 1/2 months since we first began seeking a refund from Mr. Boylan.

It seems that our situation is not unique as others have experienced a similar situation. Stay away from this company as and employee or as an advertiser.
