I recently picked up my truck from the local Rhino Liner applicator here in Western, NC only to be shocked at how thin it was applied.  My previous experience was with Line-X liners but that is not only where I am pulling information from.  On several Rhino Liner applicator websites they comment that the thickness will be close to 1/8 inch.  Mine is less than half of that.  All the fine details of the bed can still be seen, even the swirls left in the joint sealer from the factory.  My Line-X liners were at least 1/8 inch thick and withstood rough work.  I loaded and transported lots of masonry for my garage, scrap steel, engine blocks and parts.  Much of which was loaded by forklift and slid along the bed.  This new Rhino liner is more cosmetic than anything and it cost close to $500.  That's what prompted me to write this complaint.  No more Rhino products for me!

By now anyone who has followed this thread has a pretty good idea what you're all about. You have done a good job of showing the world just what kind of a piece of work you are. If not all they have to do is google your name.

There's no purpose in my responding to your insults and lies. Obviously you don't know a damn thing about iPhone development or you would realize that the very idea that a programmer could "ruin" and iPhone is absurd. And as for my coatings business I just finished one large job for the City of Austin and we are looking at doing another one in a few months. I think that the people who choose to use my services is an indication of the quality of those services.

I recently had a fellow do some web research on me and he said that what he found was good - he was referring to my efforts at stopping you from ripping off more people by way of the web site I created at http://www.texliner.info.  In fact I'm going to link to this thread on my web site and refer anyone who wants to see who the real Julius Lupowitz is to it.

For those who haven't figured it out already, "anonymous" is Julius Lupowitz, who started this thread by making bogus claims in the guise of being Pete Bergee. Now he is back claiming that Bergee stated the thread which in fact he initiated.

However when you get into "who started it" I will state that you are the one who first contacted me, you are the one who took my money and you are the one who never delivered the materials that I paid for. In any case it's both comical yet painful to all of us to continue slinging mud, right? Most of this crap is actually Pissy Pee-on PB, Pond-Scum EM & Jovial Joker JL yapping at each other thru public forum as well as mud slung by the tag team with anyone they can yap with, right? If so you may consider putting a halt to this. Why? I have read both sides, and its quite clear Mr. Bergee has done nothing wrong! The first report was a fake. I feel that was confirmed when this Julius character responded, he was the true author.  My concern is Mr. Lupowitz, has to understand by bad mouthing Mr. Bergee, he only makes things worse for himself.  I found this arguement to be inmature and not helpful, because the orginal story that started this whole thing was written by Mr. Lupowitz not Mr. Bergee.  Good luck to you both, and I hope you can meet in the middle somewhere.

Oh Brother! Here we go again with silly immature mud slinging to hurt each other... But if you sling I guess I should sling it back. Eric Marsh of Durable Coating Systems & Pete Bergee of Rhino Linings of Eau Claire are simply 2 men who get off on malicious or vindictive acts on people or entities they don't agree with or like; myself included. They both dealt with me as coating applicators & I think thru this Bergee located Marsh or vise-versa. They could've had some relations before this since they both use fairly similar coatings vendors. Bergee, who loves to convince innocent people of his beliefs, convinced Marsh to hate me.

Bergee made a deal with me funded by a leasing company whom he wouldn't pay. They sued him & won & he went bankrupt because of that. He sued my company & me unsuccessfully. Since then he's been on more angry, manipulative & quite persuasive rampage like some evangelist all against me. He needs to hear how he's destroyed this customer or that; he seemingly lives for this purpose. He's corrupted Mr. Marsh & some others so well that they also have tried to hurt me. Its sad enough to write a book on or, in most ways its also quite comical. Details amassed which may not interest you. After hearing him you may agree he's probably a psychopath. There are other victims nobody here will refute: The 2 Afro Americans "officer" Bergee hurt which got his vindictive person thrown off the police force & the 2 woman with separate restraining orders against Bergee are 2 results of this maniac. The story holds no truth and the final statement says it best, " From the horses mouth".  Well contact the horse at (715) 829-0166 and ask for pete.  The statement about Rhino is false, Rhino, is a great company, and Iam proud to have been a dealer for over ten years.  I have never talked to anyone at Line-X or have been in contact with them at any time.  The story you have just seen is written by Julius Edward Lupowitz, a convicted con artist, who is pissed at me for starting a large web site about his company.  Contact the FBI at (715) 835-3761 ask for Dave Fitzgerald, Dave will give you the skinny on Lupowitz.  About being sued, the report has not, and will not produce any court dates to prove this, because it is false.  I have helped several people with my website to stay away from this man.  This is what I get in return because no one governs the internet.  You can put anything about anyone and never be held accountable. Look at the facts, I have the FBI on my side, sites from law inforcement who arrested this guy. Lupowitz, has a website that allows an idiot to post false information.  Lets see if the response to my story, is followed by ligit information, like where are these law suits?  There is no store in chippewa falls, Line-X is actually more expensive, crown polymers is a flooring product not a bedliner product, and I have never used Granitex for any application.  Call any Rhino dealer, you cannot mix any other product with Rhino! It will not work! Rhino is a great product, call or better yet come down to our store and see the product yourself.

I also own a Rhino Linings dealership (since 2003).  We are not franchises, and we are all independently owned and operated.  Here are my experiences:

1)  I don't know what Line-X charges for their chemical, and I can't imagine trying to steal receipts from a competitor to find out what their costs are.  What an unethical thing to do!

2)  Line-X and Rhino both offer expensive Graco high-pressure equipment to their dealers.  Rhino also offers a more economical low pressure system.  We have both systems, and we find that our customers like the grippy texture in their truck beds that our low pressure systems do than the lighter texture from the high pressure machine.  Apparently Mr. Bergee could only afford the low pressure system and now regrets it.

3)  We spray low pressure Rhino bedliners every day.  Our prices for a bedliner have not changed more than 5% over the last 5 years.  With chemical and labor costs considered, we make a fair profit on every liner.  We've been using a standard thickness for many years, and our warranty repair rate is less than 0.1%.  Why would Mr. Bergee knowingly spray thin liners that result in so many complaints, and then want to blame Rhino corporation?  It sounds to me like he is blaming someone else for his poor financial and application decisions.  In my opinion, any small businessperson that has been sued 6 times over their service should really focus more on their own personal shortcomings than to try to blame someone else.   I can personally say that there is a decent business in applying Rhino bedliners for someone who knows how to run a business.  Maybe Mr. Bergee has set up a cost structure (e.g. rent, salaries, insurance, marketing, etc.) that he can't afford.

4)  Anyone who would mix chemicals has no idea what they're doing.  Most polyurethanes have their own formulas/balance of resins and isocyclamates.  Unless he is a chemical engineer, he has no idea what will happen when mixing chemicals from different vendors.  Also, if he is mixing in non-Rhino chemicals and still selling it as "Rhino," then he is the one who is ripping off his clients.  If Vortex is truly advising him that he should just use Vortex chemicals and sell it as Rhino, then Bergee and the owner of Vortex are the real ripoff artists.

In conclusion, from my observations, Rhino corporation is not perfect.  There are no perfect corporations.  They've done some things that I didn't agree with.  But for the most part I've had a good experience selling their products.  We do great work with Rhino products, and we have many very satisfied customers that come back to us time and time again.  Mr. Bergee should look in the mirror to better understand his problems.
